    Give him a chance with a decent defence in front of him first before we judge him. Irelands defence is probably as bad as ours if not worse.

    Can't see this one, he only played a handful of games last season. Although we do have a vacancy for a Spanish central defender.

    Whenever I saw him he seemed to come off the bench at Wigan then came on and missed a chance. If he couldn't get in the Wigan side for whatever reason then I'm not too bothered, I'm sure like most Bosmans of the past his agent will be after a massive wage.

    Nail on the head. Was worth a punt at the long odds. If it is OGS is the man he's speaking to who's to say 1) he's not holding out for a better job than us or 2) we are not just testing the waters to see who's interested

    Luc Nillis, what a debut shame it didn't last much longer. I'm sure we had a fiar few youngsters who played in a league cup game at Chelsea about 15 years ago, most of them were probably never seen again.
