  1. My dad went to Halesowen Grammar school with his mom and me and Tom used to play together a lot growing up. True story.
  2. Only 350 Villa fans there - you can hear the Brummie accents so clearly
  3. I was posting Alan Hutton's goal from 2018 and missed it
  4. West Ham have a reasonable season and play well for 2 games into this season and all of a sudden Antonio is the nicest bloke since Jay Cee and "what if" thoughts about freakin David Moyes?!?!? A dour Scottish version of Gollum was and is forever the last thing that Aston Villa need. I guarantee that in the next five years they'll be a Championship yoyo team again. David Moyes FFS
  5. OT but I'm not happy AY is back especially after the CC dive against United. Playing him at Left Wing against Watford was an appalling decision by DS. He hasn't played there in about 5 years. Admittedly he's looked more solid at LB. Out of all the players that VT clammer to get back (Benteke etc) AY was the last. I would take James Milner because he's a professional but Young being back doesn't sit well with me - and Grealish ever coming back - Nope. Why bail on a project you want to rejoin later?
  6. I agree but it at least has a little bit of 90’s goalie about it. But the Manure clash of yellow and blue…..
  7. What in the name of Lord Jesus are Man Utd wearing?
  8. I agree However in a particularly dark period for the club that saw us on the brink of disappearing forever, he was one of us. A lover of Aston Villa who as a player was capable of a magic control of the football and he helped drag us back to the PL (and the riches that it provides.) He'll always have a special place in Villa fans hearts for that. But don't forget Andy Townsend was the last Villa captain to raise any silverware* of note and very few would mention him as a Villa legend. *this does not count
  9. I thought that AVTV were meant to stream all of the PL2 games - that was part of the price. Or am I drreaming?
  10. Someone on Twatter said that neither team is streaming it
  11. "Dr. Death" There is a drama starring Alex Baldwin & Christian Slater - on Peacock over here. Documentary is on Netflix. TL;DR Surgeon wold open people up and smash their in spines into pieces, or kill them & sometimes decapitate them. Badly trained? Coke head? F'in insane? All of the the above!
  12. I think you've made a great argument for allegories that may still be prevalent. It's almost as if we're all one and have inhabited the same ecosystem for Millenia. Imagine that!
  13. I do want to know what qualifies you to speak for the majority of Muslims that this is how they feel and what they want? I'm not being facetious I really want to know. My Muslim friends (and I understand personal experience is an extremely thin slice and by no means a true barometer) would argue until kingdom come that you are wrong - and their attitudes and behaviors would completely negate what you are saying. Is it that you believe anyone that practices any religion wants that religion to be all dominant across the world? i.e. anyone who digs a bit of Jesus now and then believes that the whole world should be devout fundamental Christians?
  14. Jeez Louise! did we actually have that shirt? Did Bosnich ever wear it?
  15. I really hope banana cake is not a euphemism.
  16. I see a large contradiction in your post. You mention "moderate" muslims but then state "as long as Muslims look upon Muhammad as being a perfect human, the Qur'an as being a perfect book, and Islam as being 'the answer' - the Islamic world will always be one that is full of strife, and disasters like that we are seeing in Afghanistan will remain commonplace. " Moderate Muslims by definition don't see Islam as, quote "the answer" OP was stating that essentially extremist Muslims are Fascist first. If it wasn't Islam they would find something else to sure up their fascist beliefs. Surely if moderate Muslims exist then it isn't Islam that is the problem?
  17. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_for_the_New_American_Century Condy, Wolfowitz, Rumsfeld, Cheney all say hi. Let's export Democracy around the world they said. An inconvenient by-product will be $$ from tax payers (i.e. those too poor to afford expensive accountants) will be transferred to multi national arms corporations and their shareholders. But lets not advertise that because thats important right now. But Democracy yay! (even if a few folks die along the way.) It's just so, transparent.
