  1. Wasn't it an ex-girlfriend/ex-wife? not sure you still retain ownership rights over women when you break up these days.
  2. If he goes he goes, it'll be sad but we'll move on. But I don't get the wishing all the best and the like. He'll be playing for a team in the same division, I wish him nothing but failure like the rest of them! He'd just be another player if he goes though. He's really special because he's one of us at the moment, it's a really great story. If he goes he's not one of us, he's just one of them the same as Sterling, Dias, Bernardo Silva and whoever else is. His villa credentials go in the bin. for what it's worth, I do believe he's one of us, and will stay. Dragging Villa back to where we belong, trying to win a cup with Villa then getting a statue outside the Holte and a stand named after him would be worth more than buying some trophies with some oil team to me, and I think it will be to him too.
  3. £100m isn't what it was a few years ago. Look at the fees being paid for fairly mediocre players. Four year contract, one of England's hottest properties, won't down tools and go on strike, so if you want him let's start at £300m, see how much you actually want him. Can't pay? We'll take him away.
  4. Why is all the talk about £100m? If he goes then I hope we make them pay what he's worth to us which is a lot more than £100m
  5. I do! I like going to the cricket where that happens, but it's a completely different type of atmosphere. I enjoy the convival, relaxed atmosphere of the cricket, but it's a completely different kettle of fish to a simmering cauldron of hate like when we play the shit at Villa Park. Only one of those circumstances really gets the blood flowing. It's the tribal, animimalistic nature of football that makes it matter so much!
  6. I don;'t get the fuss. It's always happened, not a new thing. It's just part of the pantomime. There's always rugby if you want bollocks like standing with away fans and applauding the opposition's good play and being nice to each other. Football is about petty tribal rivalries!
  7. I'm not saying we should get Tammy or it's a unique situation, but I always find it a bit odd when people talk about a player's history of not having injuries; it means nothing if Ben Mee gets hold of them.
  8. That's great, until he gets injured. It doesn't have to be his body giving up, we're one bad tackle away from having no Ollie for a year or more. We should know only too well after what happened to Wes. We've been here before.
  9. they said on the tellybox the other night it's after the quarters they're wiped. Presumably to stop another Gazza situation.
  10. Makes you wonder if some people have even talked to a woman in real life. Have some decorum lads. And welcome to Villa, Alisha.
  11. Ukrainian ladies are the best in the land. This is a match between heavyweights when it comes to beautiful women.
  12. Absolute arrogant arsehole in real life too. It was all about him.
  13. I hated him when he left (that dive) but it was only because him leaving hurt so much. Welcome back Ash.
  14. It's like they're the only people who have ever researched anything. But research is watching idiots on YouTube. It's really sad to see what the internet has become/created when it could be such a force for good.
  15. It's a strange little cult. Mostly incels from what I've seen.
  16. It's really hard to tell what's satire these days. Really thought this was taking the piss until the last line. It's sad what some people turn into these days with a world of information at their fingertips. And why are they all obsessed with other men (probably black fellas at that) shagging their wives? Weird folk.
  17. Are any of this team eligible to defend it next season?
  18. Surprised I haven't heard more about him on here like we have Carney and JP-B and the Ramsey's. He seems a right little terror of a forward. Liked him a lot.
  19. I don't think Engels or Freddie are going anywhere. And we'd be nuts to sell Nakamba, Hause or El Ghazi. Our squad has been thin this season. We want a deeper squad, but also want quality. That means we might only be looking at signing 2 or 3 players, so I've no idea why people are talking about selling players that have made fantastic contributions like AEG, Marv or Hause.
  20. If it's anything like yesterday, nobody even pretended to look at the photos. Not sure what the point was.
