I'm going to post one more thing in this topic today and then I'll leave it. I ordered three Christmas presents off play.com early yesterday morning and I've just checked to see if they have been dispatched. They have and I should get them over them tomorrow or Saturday. Lovely. The thing that's pissed me off is all three items are considerably cheaper on there now. I paid £68 in total for them, could have got them for £42 if I got them now. I know prices change and I'm guessing they put the price down when they think people won't get them in time for the big day? Still annoying.

I've sat at my desk with tissue stuffed into my ears before, it doesnt work though. Most of the time I stick my earphones in my ears and when someone tells me I shouldn't be listening to my ipod I show them they're not plugged in to anything. They fall RIGHT into my trap. I don't need any more distractions from my work, I've already got VT.

Very much this, winds me up so much. Listening to people sing along with some shitty pop song I've heard 3 times that hour. Pure bliss when it gets switched off. Plus the fact I have to listen to the same old shite in my girlfriends car when she picks me up.

I reckon if we don't replace the other players who aren't playing as well, we'll get relegated.

I'll go for 12th. It's usually around Christmas time the table starts taking shape, but it seems anything's possible for us at the moment, I wouldn't be totally surprised with anything between 7th and relegation. I'd take 17th to win the cup though to be honest.

I'm in January 2015 with Villa and have only just managed to get rid of Hutton. I had to loan him out to 3 different clubs just to try and get rid of his wages for a bit. Another problem I have with this game is buying players that I really don't need, just buying them because I think the offer is to good to turn down, but then destroying my wage bill. For example, I already had 4 good CB's but then noticed Gary Cahill was transfer listed for £4.5m. I couldn't not. I now have to leave 'first team' CB's out of the match day squad. Upfront I have Gabby, Bent, Benteke and two Dutch wonderkids all smashing them in, but yesterday I noticed Bojan's contract was about to run out and he only wanted 45k a week. I can't help myself! Somehow my financial control is still good.

People who take secret santa too seriously. Some joker got me a signed Small Heath ball. I opened it, smiled, said 'You buggers, what you like, eh? I don't even support Birmingham City!', gave it to a blue nose and got on with my life. All afternoon I've had people coming up to me saying it's 'terrible', 'not funny', and 'not fair'. 'You got somebody a nice gift and then get that?' It was a £5 limit, crappy secret santa, I'm not bothered. What's wrong with people?

I've been playing this about a month now and am absolutely loving it. Really wish I'd got it last year when everyone was playing it and talking about it. I've turned up at the party and everyone's already gone home.

I'm really surprised a bigger deal hasn't been made about what should have been, IMO from where I was standing, a definite sending off for Benteke. I probably saw it wrong, but I'm sure he slapped Johnson. I couldn't believe it wasn't on MOTD and I haven't heard or read anything about it since, not even from Liverpool fans. Did it actually happen or am I dreaming about Benteke again? Or did I just imagine it to be a bigger deal than it actually was?

I was weeks short of 7 when we won it 1994. I barely remember it but I think it's why I started supporting Villa. I remember the 1996 final like it was yesterday. I'd only been to VP 2 or 3 times by then and I'd never seen us on TV before, it seemed magical. I celebrated each goal like crazy. It might not be the most glamorous of trophies but I'd give anything for us to win it this season and I think we've got a great chance. I think I'd cry watching Petrov lift the trophy.

Just saw one of them calling us deluded. A Liverpool fan called us deluded.
