I completely agree the tea has been way below par! Sack the Tea Lady!

For me he just wasn't good enough. He had players at his disposal that went backwards this season just like the team. The team should have performed better this season but he wasn't capable of motivating them or getting tactics right. His buys have been hit and miss, and he has been unlucky this season with injuries. Sad it hasn't worked out for him and if he does go I won't be too worried.

I'm hoping to go to the Houston game. I live in Austin so a short drive away. It will be my boys first Villa game.

You should try the T Bar Ranch. New Braunsfels is nice this time of year. I was there in the fall, very nice place.

So much wrong with this. You shouldn't kid yourself into thinking every professional manager has a high level of tactical nous ala Mourinho. They don't trust me. Even if he did have this understanding, it's a huge indictment of his ability as a manager that he's not been able to get anything out his own Premier League football team except kicking the ball long all season. Lambert has cocked up the biggest job he will ever have by sorting out a system where these players can play how he wants. Anyone think Pulis' Palace team have many more talented players than us? I will also add as I have been on said coaching course that the pros really only have to turn up to get there certification. I know many a non-pro player who is now a coach who I would put ahead of Lambert. They are never going to get the job because they were never a pro. I don't know for sure (will look it up when I can) but I expect most titles have been won by coaches who haven't played at the highest level. The reason is they have to work harder to get their badges than the stars.

I would just be happy if we stay in the PL and get bought out by someone who is willing to invest the money we get from T.V. revenue without sending the club into bankruptcy. Someone with sports business sense and will put the right people in charge.

Sounds like something is up and he will sell at the end of the season. He gave it a go for the first few seasons but sadly it went wrong after he tightened the reigns on MON. Some poor managerial decision that followed sadly put a negative slant on his tenure. I personally thank him for trying, but now it's time to move on along with the two Pauls'.

Not being funny but after last week's 3 at the back, we simply had nothing up front and bearing in mind we need goals, I wouldn't go for that formation again this season. That is correct, that's why I put Albrighton in there because we cam e alive a little when he came on. Also removing Holt from up top may make us play on the floor to Weimann and Gabby. We have played better in previous times when we have done that.

Their is no one on VT who can do a better job than Paul Lambert. No one. This is where fans become delusional. When I state this though Tro I am not having a pop at you. It's just a fact of life. Does anyone here on VT seriously believe that they can do a better job than Paul Lambert? The moment you walked into the Villa dressing room you would either be totally ignored by the players or quite simply just laughed out of town. Get real! The reason some of us who do or have coached professionally would get laughed out of town is because we're not one of the boys. It's an old boy network, just look at the atrocious managers who keep getting jobs when there are coaches out there with the same coaching licenses as them. To say I could do a better job, not sure but I know I couldn't do any worse. The guys has very limited tactical knowledge as it has been shown many times this season.

Lambert will be staying unless Lerner sells (and that is unlikely to be happening soon). I think is for the best to get behind the team rather than feeling miserable and bitter. I don't think there are many of us who aren't behind the team, it's the manager we don't support.

Yet it was Vlaar who wasn't tight to the attacker who scored. Lambert says it himself that we should of been tight behind him. Baker did his job, sadly Vlaar was the one who wasn't in position.
