  1. It's laughable the manager has shit tactics and we only start to play when we losing. The players take charge we are okay, Lambert's orders are what sink us. So when we win it's the players and when we lose it's the manager is it? **** off I hope you don't kiss anyone you love with that mouth. Think I'll forward that post over to the admins. (Poster on poster and all) No, when we lose it's the players fault also for listening to Lambert's stupid tactics. Happy now?

  3. Because he wasn't? I thought he was but not seen enough replays to be sure.
  4. LOL Plenty of time left to rescue the match We are continually rescuing games under Lambert, sadly not many are saved.
  5. Since Christmas he has been out smarted by Mark Hughes, Tony Pulis, Big Sam, and now Alan Pardew. Quite a list of names to add to his resume.
  6. Paul Lambert post-match: It was a defensive error and we have been punished. You don't lose a goal with a few seconds to go! #AVFC #NUFC Not defending his player's now is he. Nothing about your performance Paul?
  7. Great thing is Norwich are on a run of three away defeats. I'm glad there next game isn't against a team that helps teams start winning, and scoring again. Oh wait!
  8. Maybe Albrighton never got a game because if he plays another game we might have to give him a new contract. Benteke had scored a few goals recently, I know what, let's take the service away and lump it up field again,
  9. Who would you have put on in CM instead then? The McLeish comparison doesn't even make sense. He didn't put him on in center midfield though did he. He pulled Delph to the center and stuck him on the left of a three, He would have done better pulling KEA to the center and Albrighton on right mid, Saying that, he would of done putting Tonev on the left for Sylla. The olny place he can bring him on is the center of the three. Tell him to fight for the ball and give it so someone else as soon as possible.
  10. Lambert should write a book "How to kill a promising performance with subs and a half-time talk."
  11. I just read on a wrestling site Vince McMahon is interested in buying Newcastle (probably B.S.) Who would have him at the helm?
  12. If Clark had been playing, and we kept a clean sheet all would be great, but because it's Baker let's bat him up. The defense did their job, sadly was the forwards who let us down.
  13. We can say that we are a small number of fans who post on this site compared to the number who attend games, and we have wide differing views. We have the Lambert yes men, and the Lambert haters, and a number of fans who don't care either way. The game yesterday was sad to watch, because we saw the awesome fans at the ground giving up on him and the team. I've never seen in a long time the amount of empty seats (that were filled) with 10 minutes of the game left. The fans didn't believe we had a chance, and that's not a good situation to be in. The fans have been awesome this season, their singing, and support for the team. Sadly the way Lambert is setting his team out is not giving many much hope. Fans go to the games to support the club, but even they can only take so much tripe served on a plate. Yes we played better in the second half, but only because West Ham sat back on their lead. The first half when we should of been the team on the front foot, we were very poor. What I see is Lambert set out negative tactics at home, and we are usually under a lot of pressure, and then cave in. IT seems the players say sod him, and "We're going to go for it", and play the way we can play. The players are the ones who bring us back into games (not Lambert), but the pressure Lambert puts on his team to play so defensive leads to individual errors. He needs to let the players be the best they can, and not stifle the ability they do have. I want Villa to succeed, and if that's Lambert at the helm I can handle that. What I can't handle is week in, week out a team of under achievers, due to the managers lack of tactics, motivation, and defensive tactics.
  14. People seem to want to knock Baker when he wasn't at fault for either of the goals. Was brave when he needed to be, and did a solid job in the middle. If only Lambert could be as brave with his tactics.
  15. If he gets a new contract before Albrighton it's a disgrace. Only one of them truly cares about the club, and gives his all. I'm sure he will mention how we came back at them after going two down. We did bugger all when tying with them, because Big Sam had better tactics than him. When we went down 2-0 Big Sam still had better tactics than him. West Ham knew they could let us have the ball, because we were never going to score.
  16. Lambert has to take the blame for putting together a squad that hasn't enough depth to keep them out, or fielding a strong captain You may want to look in which area of the field we had possession. Wouldn't really call them clear chances. Nolan had a clear chance, and he scored.
  17. Downing corner, flicked on by Collins, and finished by Cole.
  18. At least the other team's January signings are having a good weekend, Very poor, and dull, but that's what we are at home, so nothing changed. Lambert is right, there isn't a quick fix for his poor tactics.
  19. Lambert says they are a young who are still learning, but plays them in a way that they have to absorb pressure for 90 minutes. I thought the players did their best, but they were on a hiding to nothing. Haven't got a clue why he played Holt, we were winning at half time with 10 men. Martinez out thought Lambert in the 2nd half with his substitutions. As good as the previous two games had been today was terrible. We went back to trying to bore players to death. I felt it was a free kick for the last goal. You can't nudge people from behind in this league, and not expect to give a free-kick away. I'm sure Lambert will use it as an excuse for the defeat, but we got what we deserved. Feel sorry for the fans, players, but not Lambert.
