Thank you General for your time and effort you put in coming to these forums. I thank you for the clarification on your position on the transfers and that you have no part in them. I back your view that people do want us to buy a,b and c just for the sake of it even if they wouldn't be the best for us in the long run. I also understand the fans want the best for the club but sadly that we are human and we suffer with the virtue of being impatient. I am now living in America so don't get to watch Villa live but look forward to ever Saturday as much as the next fan. I truly believe MON will do the best by the club and buy the players he wants, and not who we think he should buy otherwise you might as well give us his job. Anyway looking forward to the future and any new signing whoever and whenever they maybe.

Strange you make this post I contacted the Admin last week because I misspelled my user name when I joined the site. I asked if he could take the "I" out, he said it would be easier to make a new user name so when I am not so lazy thats what I will need to do.

I am hoping and believing we will get four. I feel we need both fullbacks positions covered. We need cover for Bouma (yes we have Barry but do we really need to lose him from midfield)(Also O'Halloran going to the Saints). We need a RB for when Mellberg does leave, even if he doesn't he needs competition. A RW, and a goalpoachnig forward. Would be happy with Riise, Chimbonda, Giles, Crouch/Bent/Defoe/Doyle.

I am new to the site but seeing a refreshing change to see someone so close to something important to so many, take the time out to respond to the questions. I moved to Texas a few years back but I do get to see the Villa play on Fox soccer world. I have seen great improvements in the team, and the quality of players coming to the club. I am sure January will be a little crazy but keep up the good work. Thank you. Only one negative, if the forums on the Villa site could be updated to the quality of this it would be nice. But know I have arrived here, I'm not so worried.
