  1. What was with the weird banner they held up in the stand to the right of the away section pre match? Read something like "European football, you're welcome"
  2. Terrace View says "sold out", is that sold out or not open?
  3. Just done a quick count online, just shy of 8000 tickets left to buy, disappointing really.
  4. Ours is now £10 up from £5 a few years ago, decent place to park, but for an extra 5 -10 mins walk tempted to start using Star City which I read is free
  5. AVFC support on twitter if you private message them are quite good in my experience
  6. Assume Palace must have returned some tickets for R1 to be available?
  7. Same, I just can't get excited by England anymore, however I do hope we win tonight (just).
  8. Will be interesting to see if this does sell out, I think with Everton having the whole of the north (and will no doubt fill it) it won't be far off. At £36.50 where I sit just seems such a high amount for a 3rd round league cup tie to watch essentially the reserves, with 3 big home European games on the horizon I shouldn't be surprised, but I do find it quite sad, modern football I guess for you. Will be more interesting to see when the new EFL TV deal comes in and all the league cup games are available on Sky what the take up would be at these prices
  9. The club say you need to phone and transfer the fan ID, the reality is, I have borrowed numerous friends season cards or brought spares over the years, I have been checked on the gate the grand amount of 0 times - fair play though driving that amount for a dead rubber!
  10. I'm assuming that is aimed more at the final if we make it
  11. I remember this, wasn't it going to be a super casino as well as a stadium by the NEC, and now its a new build housing estate?! Is their ground even going to be fully open come first home game?
  12. Like you I'm no expert, but I read it will take 2-5 years for the effect on mortgage holders to be felt due to the amount of people on longer fixes My fix is up in Feb next year, always knew my 2% rate was a game that eventually would come to an end, 4-5% not great but fair enough, but creeping upto 7% I am starting to get concerned about what to do when my fixed rate term ends.
  13. Seconded, I've never got why we see filling VP as some sort of achievement
  14. Bit overpriced, but a good idea none the less.
  15. I think the Aston Tavern has Sky, however its £10 to get in on Sunday!
  16. So much so in the latter days of Gold and Sullivan they allocated away teams 4200 tickets up from the 2800, there was uproar from fans who held season tickets in those seats who had to relocate
  17. Brilliant podcast and seems a really top bloke.
  18. Think sometimes you have to appreciate a moment of quality, I thought it was an outstanding touch, run and finish from Barnes, the sort we can only dream off from Bailey. Thought Young applied himself well and under tough circumstances did fine.
  19. Did it close? I remember one of the last aways at Blackburn I'm sure I read it got a bit crazy in there and it being gated off at a later visit (I may well be wrong though)
  20. We can relate to that in fairness
  21. Pee - granted its narrow because of the road behind it, but going for a half time wee unless you peg it before the half time whistle goes is a long drawn out process where I am (P2) I wouldn't bother with a pie, catering in the upper is another level
