    Simple question Levi, why?
  5. A great fixture list for me, only let down by the fact we are away for both the opening and the final weekend.

This was exactly how I saw things untill the slowdown started!
  7. They have apparently pulled out of a deal for Douglas. Newcastles saving grace, their scouting system, have been tracking him for ages....but Kinnear has other ideas! This should be fun......

Which do you use? I have just had to uninstall Chrome (after years of use) as it was becoming unusably slow due to a memory leak problem. A quick bit of research to find which was fastest led me to download Firefox. Now I am no tech wizkid and I as wondering whether there was a better option out there?
  9. I don't think it's more chance either way. He could stay, he could go. If you actually read the topic before wading in with stirring comments, only one poster is stating theres hardly any chance of him staying and that he's too good for us. Yet you berate us and say we're unbalanced. Heh EDIT: woodytom, you said any club who will bid for him is a million miles ahead of us and then you mention Liverpool? My sides. Well, they are! Liverpool are in the group of clubs we will be trying to catch next season. They are better, but not by much, and the loss of Suarez and Gerrards age wont improve them.. 20 points better, and improved more as the season went on than we did! there also splashing the cash and Rogers seems to be able to pick a player too. Granted Coutinho and Sturridge seem like good signings but time will tell over the whole of next season. Of his summer buys I didnt think Borini, Allen, Assaidi, Sahin or Yesil set the premiership alight last season. His team was carried by Gerrard and Suarez.

  11. I think we are in danger of exaggerating just how good Benteke is. He is no where near world class at the moment; He has the potential to play at a high level but thats all it is. We dont even know how he will react to being marked differently next season by prepared defenders, so to claim he will have outgrown us is a touch premature.
  12. This is what I first thought. We will know for sure if they put Gazza in as Kinears boss!
  13. Shouldnt have asked..... now Im gutted!
  14. Barry Bannan Mk. II That is, an advance on Bannan. Since I think Bannan will be a superb player, Crowley will be better than that. So Messi then?
  15. Whys that bloke cutting your jeans off?
  16. If only someone knew what he was thinking.......
  17. Id love to see Mike Ashleys face when he read that proposal!
  18. Its a travesty that wasn't a contender for the beebs GOTS!
  19. I think someone in the football world needs to find their caps lock button!
  20. My knowledge of Czech strikers isn't what it was!
  21. Did he have the potential to be as good as the London media would have you believe?
