Is there an argument to be had that in games like this we play 2 central defenders who like to all out defend . Pau makes a difference when we control a game . A huge difference. But when the ball is just coming back time after time we just need bodies put in front of the ball. And then when their attack breaks down hit em on the break. Seems we play the same way most games now. That said well done lads !!!!

It becomes more and more apparent that they actually do this on purpose. All about the majority of the viewers being kept happy .

A rare start on the right for him so he can cut in on his left. Thats where he did his damage at Roma. He will have responsibility for Zivchenko from the looks of it . So could be spending more time in central mid.

I think that they are equal because they are both match winners.

Must be horrible being one on one with him. They will have watched his highlights and seen that you are likely to score 1 in 10 of one on ones against him . His sheer size is his asset as well. Look at how skinny Vicario and Sa are for instance or how small Raya is. If he is closing you down then you are probably thinking that its going to really hurt . Said it 100 times but he is the closest to Peter Schmeichel there has been in terms of personality and agility for his size.

Isak and Gordon have been relentless last 20 mins of the half . This is what can happen when you go at Spurs. Put them off their game and they are nowhere near as good going back towards their own goal.

When Borland came i thought we were getting an ultra energetic attacking mid. In reality we got what Stylian Petrov became. Calm presence. He makes the right decision 99 percent of the time. . Keeps things moving and has a load of grit as well as an eye for a pass and a goal. As he gets bigger he will become a really really good player.

I know nothing about the investor other than what others have posted , but i cannot imagine it will be anything other than a good thing. Our owners are serious fcuking guys and i think from now on forwards we will mostly see partnerships that benefit us in a 5 or 10 year plan, not just for the present. We are starting to move in different circles now we are a top 6/8 club. If In return for an investment we get access to all of Comcasts companies and cheap cash and expertise to build infastructure then its a good thing. I will also be watching with interest to see if we also negotiate with Birmingham Council to buy some land now they are pretty much bankrupt.

Theyve got Huddersfield and Rotherham still to play . But the pressure is well and truly on them. Their owner talking about how they would compete in the Prem as they lose yet again. I don't think they realise what will happen if they go down. 10k crowds

He has done so much good for us. But finally our form has dipped for a considerable amount of time. Meaning that the 2 points a game average has gone now.. to get that back we have to win 5 and draw 1 of the last 6 . Which I wouldn't put past him.

He is as much of a threat as JJ already . Picks up great positions. And has elite skill level where he isnt easy to read. Can go both ways and shoot with both feet equally well. The football brain is well and truly there. Not everything comes off though and needs lots of work on the defensive side . But he is already a key member of our squad due to his threat.
