  1. 24 shots for Cov. The most on target since WW2.
  2. What a fcking game. Old school football.
  3. His decision making is already better than Zaniolos. The idea might not come off all the time but it is the right idea. If he is our version of a project player that we feel 'might' turn into a very good player then i am all for it. Enough seen already to suggest that once he learns the Emery system he will be an asset.
  4. Rowe was overworked first half but was really strong in the second. The wind did play its part. Borland looks so composed and makes the right decisions all of the time Kellyman looked exactly what he is in the first half. A first team squad player . Superb in moments. MOTM Fin Munroe. A football brain to make up for maybe a lack of real pace but that left foot and indeed right tonigbt are things of beauty. And has McGinn levels of competitiveness. He is developing steadily into a player who will 100% have a career in the game at a decent level.
  5. The one against Bpurnemouth was ridiculously good as well. He seems to have learned how to generate power and placement. Another thank you to the mystical Rodri who has got our forwards doing everything bettet.
  6. We will never know but i think he has been a massive miss this season. He would have been starting on the left side number 10 role with JJ barely being fit for long enough. His pre season form was the best i had seen from him. I know its an if but with him and Bailey both clicking in the Emety system we might have found even more balance in our play.
  7. Got the game of his life on Sunday. Lets see how he copes with the pressure and if he can get into the game from minute 1. Always thought he had it in him to be a Prem player. Fingers crossed he can show that. Emerys system is i reckon hard for him as his job is mostly stopping and a simple pass to a teammate and working backwards rather than forwards. He is far more comfortable going forward like he did at QPR where he showed JJ pace and ability to break the lines. Go on Tim. Smash it ( not a player )
  8. Wierd one on Sunday. Because even more than us, you don't knowwhich West Ham will turn up. They look great at times and abysmal at others. And that happens game to game, not month to month . They have the players to hurt us, and far more midfield options. Tim will need to play the game of his life on Sunday , but if he does then we have the players to hurt them . Do they press that much though ?
  9. Braybrooke is real quality . Finding players at will . Kellyman 5 minutes ago though nearly scored a worldie from 35 yards trying to chip the keeper.
  10. Its good that we are finally getting some taller and stronger players up front . I guess all 4 of them are 6ft 2 minimim ?
  11. I think that like our other attacking players he will benefit from working with Rodri. Watkins and Bailey have both namechecked him. If he can improve him by the same level as those 2 then he will be scary
  12. Its not just the tricks and pace any more. He is a genuinely brilliant passer of the ball. That outside of the left foot throughball to Diaby was something Luiz and Tielemans would be proud of .
  13. Would love to know the actual speed and power behind that shot. Even the slow mo was really fast. If he can build consistency behind that power he will be a huge threat. No goalie stops those kind of shots.
  14. Didnt they quote 6 to 8 weeks? . Which means another 3 or 4 weeks for him to return if the return date is right. Gets back early April. He has a month to save the season and who knows if he will feel well enough.
  15. Seems that Knighthead are getting Karma for their Rooney appt. I think this is the year they do go down. They look so crap. The fans arent turning up.and Mowbray is a long way from returning Maybe the sports quarter will be put on the backburner eh ?
  16. The speed they pass the ball around the pitch is tbe same as when we pass quickly in transition. Frightens me how much crisper it is. Options everywhere all of rhe time. Conor Bradley looking great again
  17. Dickhead tackle but we hsve seen many captains do the same over the years. Lets not deride him. The man was playing centre back on Thursday to help us He is an intelligent man. He won't do it again for sure.
  18. Somerhing like 20 points from the last 20 games. Their admittedly decent manager has health problems and a bunch of players that havent been in form since Eustace left. We will soon see how serious Knighthead are about them. The UB40 concert could turn into a wake at this rate.
  19. Going to reiterate again. A task force being put together at old Trafford. .simply insane to call thenselves that. Its **** Salford not the Falklands you tw*ts
  20. I rate him extremely highly. He even seems quicker than at West Ham but i guess thats because he doesnt need to cover backwards nearly as much so has more energy
  21. Now talking about a task force to look into the Old Trafford regeneration. Task Force ? Seriously? Last time i remember a task force was when we went to war with Argentina over the Falklands. First Wembley of the North. Now this. Its obviously marketing driven to get interest by using such words, but they need to reign it in a bit. Ratcliffe thinks they are a national treasure. They arent

    Unai Emery

Thats why we are lucky to have Unai . A slow boring 0 0 . Just what we needed with Spurs at the weekend. Look at Eddie Howe and De Zerbi. Gone for it and lost badly. Nothing better than a manager with over 100 eurpoean games under his belt. Its how he is. He knows you need to manage the players over the next 7 days. Nothing to be gained from going all out tomight and then burning out for the next 2..
  23. Ajax with a starting line up that i believe includes a 17 year old centre back
  24. Are Aston Villa taking a risk making 5 changes.? This rotation includes a Spanisb International and 2 French internationals plus 2 England Youth internationals
  25. Playing right wing rather than second striker tonight. Lets see if he can get in behind Sosa with more space to run into.
