Why do you believe BMW and Jag etc will have far superior electric cars, when they have more know how with motors? All of Tesla's resources go towards electric engine cars. I get that they have less knowledge that the others regarding the rest of the car, but how important is that? Also Teslas have been around for a few years now and you dont hear of many problems with them. Theoretically yes, but you probably wouldnt, its alot of effort and not usually worthwhile. youll have their deposit, thats about it. try get knew tennants in. The above means the most important part of letting is making sure you bring the right tenant in, so make sure you have a good feeling about them (which you seem to) and their references are up to scratch (contact references and make sure they arnt just a friend) With regards to agent and no agent, i would suggest to most people to manage themselves if they can afford to time wise and live locally. there are 2 schemes, custodial as you per yours above and Insurance scheme where you can just pay insurance for it, then you can keep the deposit ( have to give the scheme administrator information about the deposit and the tenancy)

Stevo, its all pretty easy. you will be able to find templates for contracts online but what more do you think an estate agent can do that you cant regarding enforcing 12 month tenancy? Not saying the above wont happen but i wouldnt say it does happens everytime. I think there are instances were you could accept a counter offer without it negatively effecting your career, especially if you arnt trying to get your current company to beat of even match the offer. Presuming your boss is a logical sound guy, im sure he would understand that although you love where you work and want to continue working there, a substantial pay rise may be too hard to turn down.

You obviously know the situation and people best, but very much advised to wait till after official offer. What if they took it badly and decided not to give you this new role and then the offer from the other firm never comes in? Probably a very unlikely scenario but not worth the risk just for the sake of speeding everything up

Is the simple solution to wait for the offer, then just be completely honest with JLR? Tell them you are torn and why and then see what they say, if they arnt really interested and have nothing to offer, you probably want to be with the new firm that seem to value you higher anyway.

Obviously i would say if you can stay in your job and find another, you should definitely do that. By far the best way going forward. However, a few years ago I quit my job without having another lined up but i was working in Insurance (Lloyds of London Broker) and had decided after 4 years to change my career (to Property) I had actually made some money in property on the side while working in insurance which prompted me to switch but also supported me while between jobs. Took a couple of months to get the new job and i started on a 3 month low wage trial period but very happy with where i am now and doubt i would be here without leaving my old job

Dunno if this makes it better or worse but there is LED lighting throughout my wardrobe not just the shoe section. They are on sensors so if i open a door, you can see everything clearly.

I have way too many pairs of shoes, over 20 at least. Sorry guys! I even have shoe specific cubby holes in my wardrobe with lighting to house them all! Yeah, i know all the stories and they are inexcusable but with my parents being Chelsea fans i hear other things about him, like he will always be the last one out signing autographs or will always help out any of the youth team at training if they need it etc. still a word removed but not pure evil. The other thing i heard about him was regarding being dropped this season, and apparently it was mostly his decision as he completely just lost the bottle and had no confidence in himself. Probably all bullshit though

Oh yeah, i am pretty sure i have. I am actually borrowing my dads m235i, as he wanted me to buy it, which is also fantastic and for me a better drive than the merc. Not enough though. Basically i think the merc is the nicest/most fun car i can drive where i wouldnt have an issue driving for 3 hours with 3 other 6ft people in it and is also easy to park on small on street parking spaces.

@StanBalaban Love the new car! Always loved american muscles cars and always thought id get one. I am actually in the middle of getting a new car and Mustang have just started doing RHD so ideal timing but it just doesnt work for me. I live on a very busy/tight London street and need to be able to fit 4 grown adults in the car. Was still very tempted. Have a Mercedes A45 AMG on order now. (0.5m shorter and there is leg room in back). To be honest, looking forward to the Merc alot so it is definitely the right move. I may regret adding the spoiler, which is not usually my thing, but just think it makes the car look so much nicer.

I do a fair bit of running. I wouldnt say i really enjoy it, just part of my boxing training. Fridays i run to and from work which is 11km each way and then 2 or 3 more 5/6km a week On Monday the gym was closed so decided on another 10km or so run on the Sunday but while on the run kept adding park laps and so ended up running just over 20km. With running a half marathon just for the craic im tempted to run a proper half sooning and possibly London marathon next year, otherwise it seems a waste of my fitness. Downside is means more running that i already do. I am also super competitive and would be pissed off with anything over 1:25 and 3:15 which i understand is a pretty aggressive stance. 2 people i know ran London in 2:57 and 3:01 this year and my housemate has ran a 2:51. Iv only ever ran a timed 10km once, 40:49 Hmmm its a predicament

Iv just moved house and my garden is going all artificial grass, with a few garden pots for olive trees etc. Hoping thats the solution

I have a couple of watches. My first decent one (as below) was handed down to me from my dad on my 21st. 1 of the rider tabs (the little gold bit with 15 on it) snapped off so i got an estimate from Breitling to service/replace rider tab. They came back saying it would cost £1800. Which is **** bonkers, not even sure if the watch cost that new. So now it just sits in my room waiting for the time i see the cost justifiable. Been there a year, can see it being there for a fair few more.
