  1. Go on Twitter and destroy them. They will then call you to sort it out. I have done it with a few companies. The bigger they are the faster they will help. I was not pissed off with Microsoft but I was having problems that I created accidentally, I put it on twitter and someone initially emailed and then called and all was sorted in 15 minutes. Something like "My 2 week Scots Power nightmare continues" ...brief overview of the problems. See what happens, get it re-tweeted by people also. Hopefully that has helped a bit Mrs Beenhitt (Acount 9979873a0983)
  2. Unfortunately I think they are quite sneaky by definition and super clever or they would not be able to get the top jobs. And that is where the problem is I think, from the cabinet itself to the upper levels of the Lords to the top level Police chiefs, basically anything that can be entered by using the old boys network you will find a few of these vile little creatures. As we squeeze in one place someone somewhere is shredding paper or pretending to be ill so they can't go on trial. It's all very sad and predictable.
  3. It would be easier if the scouse just had a black armband tattoo done when they reach 16 or something, gotta be easier and cheaper for everyone. It must be a terrible day for them, you know Monday.
  4. With the classic opening line - "Tonight there's going to be a jail break, somewhere in this town..." It's probably going to be at The Jail, isn't it, Phil? I'm sure Rob made this joke once and I laughed for about ten minutes after I read it. It could be someone subconsciously breaking out from a self imposed psychological jail-cell, such as breaking free from drug abuse or even a damaging and violent relationship I suppose or am I just spoiling things again
  5. Use a Karl Pilkington sound board or similar I do this sometimes to Dutch cold callers. Remember if you can get some proper laughs out of it AND it's free and it's costing THEM time / money / sales, what's not to like ? CC: Are you interested in our product x,y,z ? KP: (In manc) yeah well, when the budgie died he put it on the fire in the garden. CC: Hello, erm, yerah our products great. KP: OK, it will work like this, someone dies, say aged 84. When they die a little person comes out and life carries on. You know what I mean? CC: ...............................disconnected
  6. I think he is because we need goals from more sources. Lets say our target is 45 goals, Leicester scored 46 last year and finished 14th. Where are those goals going to come from? Lets assume defenders chip in with 6 or so. That means we still need 40. If Ayew and Ade sign and have a good season we should be able to realistically expect 25-30 goals from the forward line (Inc. Gabby, Libor). But even then we still need somewhere in the region of 10-15 goals from our midfield. I can’t see our DMs (Sánchez, Westward and Gueye) scoring too many so its Gill, Grealish, Sinclair. So for me someone like Praet would be a priority. Imagine what it was like in the 70's. (Bit off topic, I am too young to remember ish) "I heard we have a new midfield player, he's a bit young though" "What's his name?" "Dunno, Cowans or something, he's really skinny and I just can't see it working" "Typical Villa, what are they doing down there FFS." No youtube clips or anything, then we go and see him play, it must have been like *******ing Christmas.
  7. I'm very pleased with what we've done so far and I'm excited about what might still be to come. Losing Benteke is a blow but we got a large wedge and seem to be spending it wisely and the squad is starting to look a lot more balanced. I just hope Sherwood gets them to blend quickly and we make up for Benteke's goals from other areas. I'd be happy with Cambiasso and Adebayor on short-term deals to add experience and another midfielder from Europe e.g Praet. Good post that. In the big scheme of things losing Benteke could actually work out as a positive for us, we never usually make this kind of money on players and also, with a player of that type it restricts creativity and restricts formation changes IMO. Sherwood seems to be taking his time and we all have to give him space and time this transfer window, we cannot judge until it closes. The best thing about the window so far is that we are looking for round pegs in round holes for once and we have some players desperate to prove old clubs / old managers that they had them all wrong (eg Richards). Also, there are a few players Lambert bought that I never felt we saw the best of so a sprinkle of new additions and some good transfers in / out and we will be in a better position than last year. I do not get anyone who says we are relegation favourites at this point in the summer. Also, if you feel a bit fed up with the transfer window then have a look at small heath and their dealings so far, it could be a lot lot worse. You never know, we might surprise a few people this year, all it would take is to stop letting in goals at home and we would finish above half way for sure. Sort the home form and the pennies will be at the bottom of the stairs with too many cooks and that. We all know what we need so I expect the Villa do too for once.
  8. Indeed, it's like those cretins are actually trying to destroy the Greek state. Tsipras didn't just have a gun to his head, they pretty much water boarded him according to one EU official. Following the ECB engineered run on Geeek banks it was a case of concede or die. Anyone still crazy enough to believe the EU is a positive thing for Europe needs to wipe the s**t from their eyes. It's a sovereignty destroying machine serving the wishes of big capital, a corporate fascist state in the making. I hope the Greek people revolt; kill the beast. "Anyone still crazy enough to believe the EU is a positive thing for Europe" it is a waste of time, it's like spinning plates. There will always be a Greece / Ireland / Spain around the corner with their begging bowls out, if they don't understand this by now they never will. The one thing I would like to know is how much does it cost to run this EU thing a year and is it all worth it ? (Be good to see how much Greece owes compared to the waste of the EU in general). Who the **** wants to be in any union where Germany and France are the big main players anyway?
  9. That's not true. It's more acceptable to believe in it because others do. It is not more believable. Harry Potter is actually more believable and less likely to offend.
  10. All of the attacks are disgusting but there must be a slight difference in how they are reported and the reasons behind them I suppose. Both are committed by words removed, that's a given but 1 is driven by the hate of actual tangible things, they can point and say "Don't like them because they are X, Y or Z colour, size or whatever". This is a social problem combined with education and opportunities. Targeting of churches is just a "Hit em where it hurts"mentality, what else could the rocket polishers they burn if not the churches. They have nothing else. The other is driven by a concept that is essentially for the weak minded and 100% made up but causes the death of millions of people but is pushed by some as a religion of peace. Neither are solvable unless people take some decisions to stop it all once and for all. What things are called is irrelevant in the big scheme of things and especially to those it is happening too also. They have to live with it unfortunately.
  11. I think he was correct there, Dutch football is Championship standard at best IMO. Ajax have a nice big stadium but that's about it. Even Dutch people don't talk about Dutch football much.
  12. Bought a new TV yesterday, I am so happy + I now have a 55 Inch TV / Monitor in the office.
  13. No, I haggle, but it's utterly excruciating. I just know that they're laughing at me. I'm buying an old record turntable at some point, but I appear to be freaking out the retro hi fi shops by saying I'm definitely buying, but happy to buy today or wait a few months. When you don't 'need' to buy it does slightly change the dynamic. I amazed my nipper last summer when we were walking through St James's Park and there was an ice cream concession. I walked up to it and calmly asked the bloke if I could have a free icecream for my nipper. There was a slight pause....then he said yes and handed me a cone! Once I had the cone, I asked if I could take a flake from the box. He gave that little 'help yourself' wave. Nobody was more surprised than me, I'm not sure that would work 999 times out of 1,000. But it did the one time I tried it! 99 out of 100 would be better. 99 for free.
  14. At Calais, surely the easiest way to get rid of the scum trying to get into lorries to get into the UK is to:- Purchase 10 x 40 ton lorries UK registered. Park them in the Queue to get on the tunnel / ferry. Make them easy to get into. Camera in the back. Wait until full then padlock the back and drive them to South of Spain. Open / Empty. Repeat. (Make sure there is food and water etc.) Lot cheaper than dealing with it when they manage to get across.
  15. Add Instagram to that. Got a pic you want to share with friends? Facebook. Got a pic you want to share with people you don't know? Twitter. Not sure why there is a need for Instagram Facebook - organising events and keeping in touch Twitter - random musings and gossip Instagram - Exclusively for photos Snapchat - Sending Dick pics My honest albeit brief take on social media imgur > *
  16. Ok, it was a bit OTT I admit but, try and take their guns of them and the child like beavhoir of the Majority tells its own story I think. The religious aspect is just to show how clueless they are, heard a pastor from Charleston, on the radio this morning, "This is god's will and we have to accept it". So a lot of them believe in God and don't look at this like a race issue but God's will, again not the most sensitive statement considering what has happened but blaming God kind of sends shivers up my spine. If he can blame something that does not exist then I can right what I think surley, they don't care about the dead either, if they did they would get a grip and sort it out.
  17. I bet her garden is nice and tidy though.
  18. Do you think it's more appealing to us furthest away from the coast than anyone else or is it a nationwide aspiration? Honestly, watching the sunset in Cornwall over the beach with an ice cold beer, THAT is the one I live on the coast now, have done for 15 years. My physical and mental health have improved ever since. I live about 100 metres from the beech in Holland.
  19. I think that is a bit different, yes they do have guns but how many 1000 bullets are fired a day in the UK. Criminals use them as a forcer (As in give me the money, Don't mess with that bloke / gang / area as they have a gun, Drug deal insurance) and the like. It's not comparable IMO. It says a lot about a society though, how insecure are Americans ? Can't fight properly and just look like losers crying that people have died in a society and environment that each and everyone of them thinks is the best and all have in some way helped to create, they must be so proud. If I had a fight in my youth and turned up with a weapon people would just laugh and take the piss out of me and rightly so. If there are 350 Million guns then there is no hope for them and they are probably closer to civil war than the utopian society they think they live in and describe as the "American Dream". In their defence it is a relatively new country and maybe we should just leave them to it. As with the middle east, a lot of them believe in God also, that in itself sets of alarms.
  20. Just watched, best pilot I have seen in long time Super, I feel like I have found the best TV series for a long time but I am the only person to have seen it. It looks to be a proper program with geeky programming and stuff weaved in it. I have almost al of his personality traits also, not me saying that but my mrs. I don't have Facebook :-).
  21. So just like the UK then (except right instead of left, obvs) Correct.
  22. Bought a 20 euro video camera for my car. Basically because the Dutch can't or won't drive properly. I have not seen any other cars with them in. I purposely place it right over on the passenger side. I have a black and fluorescent yellow coat. They think I am the police, and keep getting out of my way. Unfortunately no fun caught on camera as of yet (apart from them moving out of my way) but it wont be long I suppose. Don't feel sorry for them, this is a country where people prepare to turn left 3 or 4 km's away from the junction, just sit there in the overtaking lane at 50 kmh.
