Ok today!!! Never thought I'd say that.

Bloody terrible today. No urgency, no vision, no stamina, no pace. Played like he had lead in his boots. Normally presses a bit and looks to gee up the team. Today looked like he was hungover.

Manure have broken Ashley Young. Looks scared to take people on.

Bannan's set pieces vs the baggies were not even third class. Showing promise in the middle. A total liaibility on the wing. Hope his crap set pieces and drink driving episode are not him getting too far up his own arrse.

Bent works hard. Always trying to get space, make the runs. Very impressed that his head hasn't dropped! Let's get behind him. Proper centre forward and someone that looks like he is always a good pass away from a goal. He will be knocking on the twenty goal mark this season.

Clark is the most overrated player we have by a country mile. Last year he was appalling but then scored a couple of headers and people are creaming themselves over him. A defensive midfielder needs to do a lot more than score every few matches. Closing space, tackling and reading the play would be nice rather than doing a damn fine impression of a sieve. Herd on the other hand has real promise (a damn sight more speed than Clark) and athleticism and could be a very useful holding player. Get him in the middle with Delph and Petrov for Saturday! Clark could be the next Cahill and play for the team at the foot of the table under an apparent top coach yet alledgedly be good enough for Barca. Maybe they can partner each other in the centre of Arsenal's new defence?! I hope Clark comes good, just don't think he ever will. You say Clark to me and I have a mental image of a bloke with a funny running style chasing down midfielders who have just strolled past him towards our penalty area!

Very impressed today. Quick, reads the game well, good in the air. Just needs to be more composed on the ball going forward. Dribbles into lunging tackles! Could be the holding enforcer we need to free up Stan/ Delph/ Bannan/ Ireland as the attacking 2 going forwards if we stick with 4-3-3. Appeal the card, get him in against a revived Suderland and lets kick on!

Can pass and shoot, but must never ever play on the wing. He just hasn't got a clue out there. A luxury player and one we can't afford to carry at the moment. Sorry. He will not be going to an English "big club". Maybe Celtic/ Rangers. Will not leave us for another Prem team.

Good when he gets on the ball. Our midfield is just too powderpuff to carry him.

N'Zogbia actually looked good in his cameo vs Bolton. Hopefully this is the start of what we were expecting?

Agree Solo is a must watch. The Killing us style have done an ok job.

On series 2 Spiral. Very good. US version of The Killing tonight. Saw the brilliant original. Prepared to be disappointed.

The Killing (original with subtitles) is the latest box set I have started and the look and feel of it so far is absolutely brilliant. Go for this rather than amc version!
