Worst 1st half for a loooooong time. Literally no-one could make any type of pass whatsoever. Carew/ Pires/ Clark. Sloooooowest spine of a team ever. Not good when the front two are trying to get to flick ons..... or break away from Arsenals midfield....... Looked pathetic. Clark is not a central midfielder and it is killing us. Turning circle of a barge with the speed of thinking and passing of a telegraphed sloth. Arsenals tippy tappy bollocks killed Clark and Bannan forgot what the term "goalside" means. Warnock was horrific for 10 mins, but after that best of the defence. Ash and Downing had nothing to pass to with Carew and Pires running in treacle up front for the first half. Horrible team selection by GH. 2nd half was much better. 2 Clark goals will paper over where we struggle the most when it matters. Our defence is cack because Petrov or NRC aren't in front of them. Positives for the day - Ireland. Needs to play instead of Pires. Ireland and Ash interchanging with Gabby/ Fonz upfront. Please.

Think I was at a different match to alot on here! Friedel - 6 - Nothing great. Poor for Harewood goal. L Young - 7 - At times good. Collins - 7 - Did most of the defensive work Dunne - 6 - Makes me nervous, just waiting for him to add to his tally at the wrong end Warnock - 4 - Poor. Confidence appears to be shot Downing - 8 - Powerful attacking force and working hard Clark - 5 - Slow movement, poor reading, slow distribution. Bad news come Saturday. NRC was man of the match. Clark looks good, but nearly did us with some (at least 3) very dodgy passes. Carew knackered after 60mins again. Fonz was a huge disappointment. How people think he was winning headers I'll never know. 2 at the most and one of those was flicked out rather than on! At least 50% of Carew's headers hit one of our players (normally Ash). Chelsea knew Petrov would always go sideways and he played himself into difficulties because of it. Not enough movement from Ireland. Downing was man possessed in the first 45! Could have won it, could have lost it. A point at the start of the day would have been taken.

First half highlights report. Spuds had 11 players and a couple of officials on their side! VDV looks good. Huddlestone should get a 3 match ban. Could have been 3-1 up quite easily. Bolton killed the game and the crowd. Kevin Davies remains the most under-rated player in Premier league history. Bolton without him would have been relegated years ago. Love it that Glaston can't admit Twitchy is dodgy?! Last few pages had me in stitches! Anyway Full article and how "it ain't me honest guv.
