Hey ho. Unfortunately I can see this bloke being as good as Drogba in a few years. Off he goes, it was all just a bit inevitable. Enjoyed it whilst it lasted. Saw him vs Swansea and said to the lad we won't keep him next year and got him the Benteke shirt a few days later. To me he was obviously going to be that good. Think one more year would have been the right move for him with us and then go. However, if he stayed we would have been totally reliant on him and then to lose the main focus of the the last 2 years of play could have left us very fragile. Let's hope a new exciting style of play and fresh new signings help us more in the long term. Heads up! UTV.

How many times in those 25 games did he come off the bench and/or played out of position? Played up top when Bent was out last year. Remember thinking he could be Englands centre forward for the Euros as all the strikers were dropping down injured. Then what happens? Plays gash and looks like he's not interested? I had put that down to McLeish. Now I have to just think he's not all that.

Yep Spiral is a French cop show. If you can do the subtitles, can't recommend it enough. Up there with The Wire for me.

Did people actually watch Gabby last year playing centre forward. He was captain gash. Bent's movement in the box means he gets sitters. Gabby's lack of movement makes our crosses look sh+t.

Manure have broken Young. Same as Liverplop breaking Downing. They both used to get the ball and run at full backs. They have been fooled into believing keeping possession and going backwards is better...... and confidence has gone with it. Bit harsh on the wingers. Couple of the crosses would have heen Benty two yard tap ins. Gabby is not a centre foward to get on the end of crosses. Herd is looking good, again. Ireland had about 6 interceptions and read the game well. Weiman actually has half a brain and can read flick ons. Lichaj getting better as is Baker. I think Collins is a huge loss.
