For me in the centre, he is good out wide, but I want to see him as involved as possible in our play, and I think being in the centre he will get more time on the ball. In our 10 game run that got us promoted he was fantastic in that position. This is assuming we bring in a strong player for LW.

Brighton are a good team, this will be close either way. If you had told me back in 1993 when we were battling with Utd for the first ever Premier League that we would be facing a tough game against Brighton who I used to go and watch at the rotting old Goldstone Ground I wouldn't have believed you. They are my local team who have been through shit that no club (with the exception of blues) deserve. So I'll always want to see them to well, but wish they would lose this one heavily as I want to fire off some choice replies to the the whats app messages I got last game.

Glad that he is going out and getting some first team football, I'd acknowledge he probably isn't going to be good enough for where we want to be in future seasons. But man will I have fond memories of this guy. I remember seeing his YouTube highlights before we signed him and could not believe some of the wonder strikes we were seeing. To be fair he has carried that right on, some great games, brilliant goals and he was a key part of our return greatness (part 1). He will tear it up back in the Championship.

Credit where it is due Omar and team, this is a real quality podcast. The best one out there IMO. Normally these things take a while to get up to standard but this has been first class since first episode.

I think we will stay up, while it seems the majority of pundits think we'll go down. However there is a certain amount of variance at play here. Last year, I though we might get between 25 and 40 points. This year, I think we will be stronger, so I'd probably say between 30 and 45 points. But one long term injury to Jack or Tyrone and we could be at the bottom end of that target. Lets not forget how unbelievably bad we were at times last year, no pace, couldn't defend, didn't look fit, hilariously bad in attack, naive, no game management etc.

One thing that surprises me every transfer window thread is just how different opinions are on players, transfer values etc Posters who I think are really sensible throughout the year, make really good well thought out posts will come into the transfer thread and be saying things like - We should sign player x, and I think they must be joking player x is total shit, lazy, injury prone and all round very poor. Then a load more sensible posters will pipe up saying, no way we get player X he is out of our league etc. He's off to Bayern for eleventy million anyway. Then the bat-shit crazy posters will come along with sensible suggestions for players who I think would improve us and get laughed at by half the forum and lauded as astute footballing sages by others. Thankfully I know I'm right.
