  1. Top 7. The thing is though we are obviously going to win the Conference League so we will class that as a great season.
  2. Some of these puns are really bad now. I've just let out a loud sign of displeasure, a king tut if you will.
  3. Just started a new save. I realised for the first time in years I was gutted because it meant Emery leaving. Normally I can't wait to clear out our managers and get started this time, it was tinged with sadness. Anyway thought I'd share.

Thanks, I'm sure that is great advice. The depth of the game is somewhat overwhelming at times so I tend to hyper focus and miss the obvious.

Been playing for the last couple of months, what a great game. It has to be said though, I am shit, like much worse than I should be for the time and effort I have spent learning this game. In fact I think I actively prefer learning through watching videos and reading to the actual playing. I get so caught up in my tricky trap setting that I fail to see the opponents very obvious check mate, time and time again.
  6. He is not what I would call a robust individual
  7. Randy Lerner has got to be in with a shout. Started so well then mismanaged us to relegation, sold us to a complete chancer who nearly had the club wound-up. Dark times.
  8. Nor me. The price tag and "pro" in the title mean this is very much not a mass market product. Apparently Apple are only looking to sell around 200k of these, which for an apple product is minuscule. But this is the first wave of something pretty ground breaking imo. 10 years time when they are the size of standard glasses, the battery is better / built in, augmented reality apps and features have been moved into the mainstream, I can see this being to sort of tech that replaces mobile phones for many people.
  9. I think "an onslaught" is more serious than "a raid".
  10. I always think about 92/93. First premier league season, us and Man U fighting it out for the title. Their injury time comeback against Sheffield Wednesday which if memory serves saw them go above us in the table. I wonder how different the trajectory of the two clubs would have been over the last 30 years if we had won that year.
  11. As someone who has watched Brighton for 30 years, it really makes me feel so dirty that I was upset with a last minute winner against Man U. We better have our big boy pants on the last few games as we can surely try and finish above Spurs

  13. He is just such a "fun" player, frustrating at times sure, occasional liability maybe, but a proper entertainer.
  14. Been on a couple of analyst calls today and everyone seems remarkably chilled. AT1 debt did what is was supposed to so no cause for concern. Seems either we are all good or this is the start of Lehman II and we are currently at the 2007 stage of it'll all blow over.
  15. Strange New Worlds is easily the best best Trek since DS9 and a proper return the monster of the week episodic format. A couple of the later episodes in the series are weaker but it is an actual return to real star trek for me.
  16. To be fair for years it was. Probably sometime in the late 90's it started to transition into a larger scale T in the park. I mean Adele headlined on Saturday night so at this point it is just a "music" festival.
  17. Modern footballer names, seems like they are all made up. Norton Cuffy FFS
  18. Yes, they will all be on in various bars. You'll have no issues.
  19. This was an easy three points for us till the shit coat gravel eater got appointed. 1-0 James Tarkowski header from a set piece

I made a post once about how Doug Ellis was killing the club and that the model we needed to adopt was the Leeds one under Peter Risdale. I may have called Risdale a visionary at one point.
  21. The Idea that Ngoto was some unknown player who they unearthed is odd. He has been a wonderkid on FM since 2020, and someone I always sign given his massive in game potential and low cost. He would be on every scouting database and known by all professional teams by the time Leeds signed him.
