    Best game for Villa. MOTM for me. Played passes no one would dare, from positions that made me wince.

    They will if the players aren't signing new contracts. Agree it'll be very expensive. We won't be signing Eze or Olise. Andersen is an interesting name though, that's possible IMO.

    Harsh IMO. Him and Zaniolo did loads of support for the defence today. Crucial. He's still not back up to that early season form though. Confidence has gone a bit from his game. It will return.

    Ran over 12km today. More than anyone on the pitch. More than £100m box-to-box Declan Rice. He plays with a wonderful freedom. Not a hint of PL nerves or anything. Bravo.

    Bailey has been directly involved in seven goals as a substitute in the Premier League this season (three goals, four assists), more than any other player.

    Best game for Villa that. Really good. Add him to the pile of everyone that has improved under Emery.

    As well as preposterous quality overall, he's just got that X-Factor. Something magical about him. If we go to a penalty shootout this season...imagine the confidence all the takers will have knowing Emi is trying to stop the opponents.

    Really strong today. Everyone had to be switched on and he was leading by example throughout. His buttocks also looked sublime.

    We tried to sign him before he went to Palace. Very good player. Very good character on the pitch. Not certain what positions we'll spend big, be interesting to see. I'm in the minority that I don't mind Konsa+Cash as RB options (plus £9m Nedelkovic!). A CB isn't out of the question with some uncertainty around Mings. Andersen would be high cost, high quality, minimal risk. Wouldn't hate it.

    If Bayern knock Arsenal out, that's pretty big. Leverkusen are already big favourites to win Europa, so Germany will be in a great place. The sooner I can go back to wanting every English side but Villa to lose all the time, the better. 4th and no UCL for 5th is 100% the best outcome for us.

    Best game for Villa. Does what he's told to do. Powers forward. Gets us up the pitch. Really really impressive. Unai definitely still knocking some rough angles off as well. Do what the great man tells you, and you'll fly as a footballer.

    Not appalling at all! Daje! You won't get too many tougher games than that. Ran miles back and forward down that wing. Size of the ****, I've been wanting him to knock some opponents over since he arrived! If he can toughen up and find some consistency, he can make it here. £19.2m (plus I suspect a decent wedge more when we qualify for Champions League) is the price. Still unsure myself. Best game for Villa.

    Feasible results. As we've been the last two months... probably likely. If we improve, we could definitely get 10+.

    There is no reasonable argument against us being in poor form. From what we've put on this season, we have recently been poor. Wouldn't worry about debating it if someone insists we aren't. They see things differently.
