My Dad had a Dolomite. My overriding memory is that there was a 2-3mm gap between the top of the window and the window frame in the back.

Where did that powder blue and white colour scheme come from?
  4. Yeah, next year we're going to be welcoming fans from across Europe who are used to being in and their teams playing in some of the most fabulous stadiums in the world. One look at The North Stand and they'll be sniggering behind their hands wondering if they've been transported to an Eastern Bloc country circa 1983.
  5. But personally I'm happy to go to labour just to end the ban on on shore wind farms. It's the cheapest form of power by absolutely miles and we can't have it under Tories. A group (I can't remember who, see Fully Charged Show) have identified enough land on unproductive, far from local population land suitable for windfarms which would be enough to generate DOUBLE the UK's electricity requirements. And get this, even if is was all used, it would still be less than useful farming land currently taken up by that enormously important to the future of humanity and self security activity called golf. How come there aren't questions being asked in parliament about the good farming land being taken up by Golf courses? They have many more better Green proposals than The Tories so I'll live with other things.
  6. I can't get on with their objection to HS2. A green party against replacing car motorway journeys with railway journeys just makes no sense to me and shows a lack of clear thought through arguments.
  7. Ah well. We'll have to rely on @NurembergVillan to advise us on what a gigantic mistake he's made. Specially as to why it's not as recyclable as the 8,000 gallons of fuel it would otherwise burn in it's lifetime (even though it is actually all recyclable anyway).
  8. How you getting on with it I assume you are constantly running out of charge. Can't do your regular 600 mile journey Have ruined countless roads and car parks due to the weight. Have had a large number of car fires Have had to replace the battery at least twice And have by now sent the whole thing to landfill as non of it is recyclable?

I didn't see the Northern Lights because my idiot son had alcohol but unlike an adult puked in the taxi at the bottom of our road, needed fetching back to the house, needed to strip outside the front door as he was covered in puke tha And didn't fall asleep because he was retching into a bucket for a couple of hours. Constantly telling us and his girlfriend how sorry he was and apologising for his language as he kept calling himself a word removed that he'd **** up.
  10. I used to see a guy most days around Tyseley Road on my rabbit run commute driving a really old Mercedes of some sort. At least 70s,possibly 60s I'd say.
  11. Seems like a load of old guf to me.
  12. Do you know what. I'd say Green is a pretty good protest vote right now. If they get a big enough share at least the main parties might start to think they have to take the climate change thing seriously. That way at least my as yet unborn Grandkids might have a chance.

Par for the course in those days. Yet people laughed at the Japanese motors that fit together properly and didn't rust to shit in a couple of years.
  14. Like a kind of GA+ No wonder Heck seems to get on with him so well.
  15. Has anyone been to The Corner Flag restaurant recently. I've not been for YEARS so I assume it's been thoroughly done up since then. They used to have bar stools that were like footballers legs from the waist down. Dead classy.

Oh Man. Reading VT whilst listening to Absolute Radio 80's. King, Love and Pride just been on. Everytime I hear that song it immediately transports me to The Silver Blades Ice Rink in 1984. Whenever that came on it would cause me to absolutely tear it round that ice rink like a man (well boy) possessed. I swear my legs are tensed whenever I hear those opening, bars ready to go. Good times.
  18. The "Grab Bag" packets of crisps are getting smaller. I'm wondering if they're now about the same size as a normal pack was in the 70's/80's.
