If we still need to sell to buy after 3 years of austerity and multi billion pound TV deals then I just a ) don't appreciate how strict the rules are or b ) understand what the hell is going on!! I think we could have spent a lot more the last few seasons and still been within the rules, but Lerner for one reason or another didn't invest. This year we seem to be willing to spend up to the limit. Something has obviously clicked. Selling Benteke, however harsh that will be as he's a star on this team, will allow us to further enhance the squad in other areas and be a more competitive side. Benteke = 3 10m rated players.

I wouldn't take any cash plus player offer from Liverpool. It's the £32.5m or nothing.

This. If he does go then I'll wish him well. Obviously I'd rather him stay, but he's paid his due in a team fighting relegation the last few seasons so if he wants to move to a team challenging for Europe, so be it.

Any idea what kind of software he would have used? I could do with some help, making a picture of similar shaped object, look bigger in a photo. Just give it a rub beforehand.

Like Tim said, he wasn't ready for a relegation battle. I can see that. He was new to the league, to England, and he's more of a flair player than a battler. He ground out some results, survived, and now we can look to a fresh start next year. Gil might yet play a part in our coming season.

Sanchez, Delph, Westwood, Gardner, Bacuna, Gueye, Praet Gil, Grealish, Zog, Sinclair, Robinson Benteke, Kozak, Gabby Plus the young guys in our U21 squad. Not a bad team by the looks. Definitely not relegation fodder.
