One thing this whole sorry debacle has shown is that no one can really second guess what the hell is going on at VP or in the muddled American mind of that rear end wipe Lerner. The fans can second guess as much as they like, much in the same way that the media are doing, but the realism is while the befuddled and bemused American sits in his Howard Hughes type no communication state, all anyone can do is guess and speculate. As said I really do not hate many people in this world, but for Randy Lerner he has managed to join a very exclusive and small band of individuals. One that if on fire I would not pee on them. I am old enough to have seen Villa relegated before - I watched them in Div3 - and there are a lot of similarities between what happened under Turner and Billy McBingo and what we are seeing now, with the one exception. For all of his many many faults, Ellis did not hide, he at least showed some balls and faced the problems that he has caused. Lerner is a contemptible chicken, he deserves no respect whatsoever. Just go Lerner, run away with what little money you have managed to screw out of the club, you will not be missed, you are just the football equivalent of a 10 pint shag - one that seemed so good at the time but we were duped and in the cold light of day you turned out to be nothing more that something that will need a lot of care to get rid of the pox you have infected us with.

Not posted in here for a long while but today's events really have made me want to let rip at the god awful person that is Randy Lerner. I hate very few people in life, but he is one person I do. He has completely ruined one of the most respected football clubs there is, his mismanagement is beyond that which you would attribute of a person who was in full control of the necessary traits needed to run a football club. The bloke is a snivelling rear end wipe, with no balls to face the fans. I have nothing but loathing for him. Just go Lerner take your ideals and ideas and shove them where the sun don't shine. Just get out of the club, disappear to some place where I never have to see a pic of you or hear of what other ill you can inflict on OUR club.

Ahhh Monsieur Garde, the charlatan masquerading as a Premier League manager. Totally unsuited for the role and what was and is needed. Tactically all over the place with little idea of how and when to change things. It's not about strength of the bench, it's about the nous to see where things are not working and get the players to adapt. Some people still have faith in him, then again some had faith in Lambert, which just goes to show that typically once fans are wearing the Claret and Blue glasses (obstinate style for the 2016 season), they cannot see the man's shortcomings. There is a body of 'ladies' on Twitter who call themselves - Team Remi - its actually quite funny to see the pants dampening tweets they post on there, claiming that the FrenchMan is in some way a god and bereft of any scrutiny. We all know that Lerner, Fox and those that filled that position before are very culpable, but the reality around Garde is that he is awful, a terrible appointment for the what is needed at AVFC. For someone as old as myself who witnessed the abyss we are looking into before, the desire for another Graham Taylor is about all we have left to cling to. So for Remi Garde as they say in France ' au revoir'

i can't believe some people think Lambert is a good manager but there you go. And for those defending the benteke dropping why not the same criteria re cleverly ? He should be dropped too, as should Sanchez after last week. But you can't drop everyone. If Sanchez was playing I bet Cleverley wouldn't be. coeverly has been a week link for ages, Sanchez one bad game. Lambert has no consistency there. He has his favourites and pig head ness means that he will put that before the club imo. A terrible manager who has no right to be at the club. The sooner gone the better. We could scrape a win today and that would not excuse his woeful performance to date. Who are his favourites, apart from apparently Cleverley? Gabby, Benteke, Westwood, Sanchez, Cissokho and Weimann have all been dropped recently. Hutton was dropped for 2 years. Okore doesn't really count. Clark has been dropped plenty of times. I don't think he's ever dropped Delph but he's arguably our best player. So I suppose Delph and Cleverely are his favourites then?
