In Xia we certainly have the man with the qualifications to do it.

A simple rule change to have to play to the referee's whistle would do it. Referee just ensures that everyone is in position.

He didn't do so well for us either, so no, we didn't break him, he is just not good enough.

He has flair, but is really too lightweight. McCormack fighting through 4/5 defenders to put Ayew through - that is more what we need.

It cannot be denied we needed Kodjia; he has already shown his worth. But we needed cover for injuries or ACN, so we bought the best in the division - McCormack. But we needed a midfielder as well, not in stead of. Having said that, Tshibola is not being used.

I was very impressed with him earlier in the season when he was playing on a more regular basis. I guess Bruce does not see him or Tsibola as starters.

Of course, I agree, others took the piss as well, but I was merely refuting the point made by the poster, in pointing out that not the entire squad did it. I highlighted Agbonlahor simply because he is supposedly `one of us'.

If your theory was correct, the entire squad would have done the same. They were professional, Mr. Aston Villa was not.

I do not dislike Agbonlahor in any way, but I cannot forgive his attitude over the last few seasons when we needed him. Now that the club may be turning the corner he suddenly decides he wants to be part of it. Not for me. I am unhappy that he is even travelling with the squad.

That is purely an insult, not an assessment.

He is better than any of the midfielders we have at the moment, so, on that basis, if he wanted to come back, we should certainly have him back.
