Agreed. I was simply responding to the point about Bruce `trying him out', and disagreeing with that. I give Bruce more credit than that.

An expensive way to buy. If Agbonlahor has cost us points by being in the side in lieu of someone better. I really cannot see that Bruce would be doing that. He obviously feels that he is good enough.

Judging by the few times I have seen him playing for us, he is very much a team player. I think he is very unselfish for a striker, and his record supports that view. Warnock is talking shit.

McCormack assists as well as scores. An `inside forward'. In my opinion should be playing more. But while we are unbeaten, cannot argue with what Bruce wants to do.

Have to agree with most of the posters on here, tries hard but not good enough. Midfielders and right back are priorities in January.

If we get promoted with those two playing, we will be promoted in spite of them, not because of them.

He put himself about plenty last night, better than Gardner, but to me both are ineffective. Both players are not good enough. We need midfielders to get a hold on the game and stamp their authority on it.

Interesting information, SV, but it could be said that that is why he is on loan to a lower league side - to make the mistakes and learn from them. Hopefully he will mature into a player who will be good enough for the Premier League, but time will tell.

Very true. In my time in business (now happily retired ) I worked with 2 separate clients where the sons blew the fathers fortunes. It is easier to spend money than it is to earn it.

So no one has said they hate him. So they have called him names, names I have heard other players being called. That does not make it right of course, but it does not in any way suggest what you say it does. It is never good to use words like `hate' lightly.

I simply want to say that if he helps us to promotion, that will be great, and fair play to him and Bruce. But that is his job, and a job we pay him handsomely to do, and whatever he does now, I cannot and will not forgive his behaviour over the last few seasons.

In Xia we certainly have the man with the qualifications to do it.

A simple rule change to have to play to the referee's whistle would do it. Referee just ensures that everyone is in position.
