I notice he did not celebrate his goals against Preston, even though he was only on loan with them. The guy has class.

It would be a serious mistake to sell him. They have already made one mistake with him by sending him out on loan this season. He would have been a much better option than Duran. He would have filled his boots this season with us. In another season he will be worth double your £20m.

Guy is a feckin' goal machine. You cannot teach that. He has been immense in his recent loans. I want to see him playing for us next season, not out on loan again. We will never know where we might have been if he had stayed with us this season. Thank god we have him on a 5 year contract. I am convinced he could become a superstar for us.

Yes. A lot of money for a player his age. Definitely one for the future, and you have to think the club know what they are doing. My point is only that he does not look ready at this stage to be a starter for us.

A draw was probably a fair result. Either team could have won that. A number of players are just not good enough - Bailey, Chambers and Cash. Duran is right in there, really getting stuck in. Will be interesting to see how he progresses.

He is developing rapidly and seems to be a serious talent. Even to get a couple of kids coming through to the first team would be an amazing achievement.

On the subject of Duran (back on subject) I know it is too late now, but Archer should have been filling the places Duran and Bailey are struggling with. I am convinced he would have been getting goals. Also he is a very busy player, and would have been a nightmare for defences alongside Watkins.

We wait years for a really good striker to come through our ranks, and yet we want to cash in on him? I would be very disappointed.

If we decide to augment Duran with another ready-to-play striker, we will lose Archer.

Dendoncker and Chambers were bought as squad fillers and, let's face it, they are barely capable of fulfilling that role. I am sure they will do their best, but they are what they are.

Duran may well have a good future, but I still maintain that it was a mistake to send Archer out on loan rather than play him. I prefer what I have seen from Archer to anything I have seen from Duran or Bailey.

That was an injury waiting to happen. The referee was allowing too many heavy tackles. He should have used his yellow card earlier. Game management for referees - is that an alien concept?
