Yep. If the ref was doing his job right that would have been a foul so no goal and they would have (possibly) been given a penalty for the challenge on Digne which Martinez might (possibly) have saved or not. So still a 2-1 win for us. As someone said, if you work hard you get lucky.

That was a brilliant result, and the time wasting at the end was superb. A great effort by the entire team. This manager is amazing. Ings was MOM. His best game for us. Although McGinn was MOM in extra time. (I thought it was an error to play him, but what do I know.) All the players are responding to the manager. Happy times ahead.

Who would be our 2nd keeper after Olsen and the permanently injured Steer? Sinisalo? Too inexperienced? Needs to buy a second keeper in the January window. God knows how many keepers that is that we will have on our books.

Absolutely brilliant. So animated in the technical area. But positively, no throwing hissy fits like so many of the managers. Orchestrating and directing the players like it was a training match. He is so impressive in so many ways.

I love the guy. I find him absolutely hilarious. Deserves to be captain.

Played really well today, and in a position that suits him. He really loves a blast at goal. When you see the quality of some of our youngsters it is exciting to imagine how Emery can progress them.

He tried hard, as usual, but looked out of place today. Feel a bit sorry for him. He has been a very important player for us and seems like a good guy, but I feel his time here may be over.
