    Didn't think of that. Imagine he's your team mate and then next week he's saying that you're either talentless or lazy. But then again Forest Green hired a woman as manager for 2 weeks as a compete publicity stunt. This is probably the same business. They knew the calibre of his temperament from him being a player so this can't have been a surprise. Just a way to get them in the news again. It seems they have forgotten about any need to win football matches

    We could have gone into every game like the crazy gang and lost under that charlatan RDM. That was his last management job with an 8% win rate. He wasn't trying to play football. He was just trying to get through the week without being found out.

    Izzy thinks losing to West Ham and Fulham might be a good thing for Arsenal because it'll be a wake up call. Great point. No one is mentioning Villa. I'm surprised they don't cut us out of the table when they put it up.

    I had such faith that Villa would manage the game and Trust Unai etc that I was shocked that it all fell apart. I'm still sort of reeling. There were moments of concern in playing it out early on where it all went to shit because of the 6 outfield players who work it out, 4 were back up or playing out of position. Only Luis and Digne were where they should be. And then Digne went off so there was only 1 of the first choice in position. And that was not likely to hold, despite the lead. I would have been happy with a draw going into the game and we nearly got it. I wonder if we could have abandoned our playing it out early on and try to go long just to not run the gauntlet on those 5 back up players. Maybe easier to say in hindsight.

    Is it ok to express disappointment in an outrageously over the top way on an internet football forum? I would have thought yes, but maybe I'm wrong. If there isn't space for 'bedwetting' on a match thread, then I don't know where to do my bedwetting. Maybe it's time to explore my urge to start attending far right demonstrations.

    He put his hand right into Diaby's face. That would be a red every day of the week if he wasn't the referee. VAR should really intervene, but it's one rule for the players and another for referees.
