  1. Those percentages are such nonsense. They're totally ignorant of probabilities. I've been blocked by some of those accounts on twitter for pointing it out. They change drastically on one result which means they have created a probability on some assumptions but if they are wrong in their assumption, the entire probability % changes. The likelihood of the assumption being wrong should be factored into the percentage, rather than if arsenal win then the percent we quoted is accurate. If they don't win, essentially we have to completely recalculate the probability because the previous probability assumed they would win and made no allowance for the possibility that they wouldn't. It's nonsense pseudostats
  2. A PSA is not a risk free test. The number increases with age and leaves you open to some really invasive unnecessary investigations that can lead to really significant problems. >50% of 90 year olds will die with Prostate cancer, but it won't be the cause for their death, just something rumbling in the background. PSA test on request is not recommended. GPs seem to love running them, but they're bad news. Interactions with doctors are like when US cops pull over minorities. The chances of getting shot/ made impotent/incontinent from an unnecessary prostate biopsy goes way up when your GP runs a PSA and you don't know any better. YMMV
  3. Fulham next away for them. Fulham playing well and beating West Ham today. Loss Everton away, derby match and Everton fighting for their lives. Loss West Ham away, have lost one game at home since September. Draw Home to Spurs, Draw Away to Villa. Villa win Home to Wolves. Dunno. Loss. Why not? They just lost at home to Palace. 73 points total for them. Villa need 11 points from the other 15 available to finish 3rd. We can even afford to lose today. It's in the bag
  4. I haven't played a Football Manager game for almost 20 years. I'm considering getting back into it. I found the training elements became a bit involved. My favourite part of CM was playing Stan Collymore until he wasn't depressed anymore, so I'm probably not a purist. Any recommendations on how best to get back into it without being overwhelmed by all the changes
  5. I agree with all of this but I don't think we think we're Liverpool. We were just 2-0 up against Brentford who haven't won in 9 and they nearly beat us. It's a great season. Yesterday didn't feel great. If you remember that season we were competing against Arsenal for 4th and we were well ahead of them before a bad run and then we went 2-0 up against Stoke and it looked like the slide was over. After our second goal went in, the commentator announced that we were going to finish top 4 or that we had one foot in or something. And then Stoke scored two in the last two minutes. That was the last time we finished 6th. It didn't feel like we had had a great season.

    Douglas Luiz

He's out for 2 games now. He must have a trip booked. Yellow cards would have been scrubbed after today. He misses two games because he couldn't keep ut together for another minute.
  7. Digne had more time there . Didn't need to do the acrobatics
  8. I give a shit about Villa. Really celebrated that goal
  9. Great offside trap. Shame everything else is absolute dogshit
  10. Back to this **** shit. We had Brentford beaten where their game plan of being extremely narrow had failed. And now they've something to hold on to. I can't even watch anymore. Just listening to the commentary
  11. Ah so we're doing this again. Good to know
  12. Such a shame that didn't go in. Was a great move
  13. Steven Gerrard's free kick there. Who was the keeper? Didn't look like Sorenson
