  1. He has to go, there is literally nothing else to say
  2. Given - 7, good saves, only player worth having on the pitch Hutton - 3, can't play football Collins - 4, poor game Clark - 3, very poor game Lichaj - 5, not as poor a game Baker - 4, poor game Ireland - 2 shit Bannan - 3, see Hutton Gardner - 3 very poor game Agbonlahor - 3, see Bannan Weimann - 5, Not really in the game, so possibly our best player Heskey (for Clark 64) - 3, see Agbonlahor Carruthers (for Ireland 75) - 5, Promising but not much else to say N'Zogbia (for Weimann 83) - 3, see Heskey
  3. He would really compliment Bent up front. He does everything that Bent doesn't do. He's a bit like Robbie Keane really
  4. Given - 4, not much he could do about the goal but was very flappy and had a poor game by all accounts Hutton - 3, awful delivery, just an awful player Collins - 7, had a good, solid game. Needs to man up a tad though Baker - 5, didn't really notice him Lichaj - 6, solid generally, but passing let him down occasionally (plus one interesting slice to concede a corner) Bannan - 4, his passing was waaaaaaay off and just didn't have a good game. I really don't understand the hype Herd - 6, fully committed, does an ok job of the 'Petrov' role Ireland - 6, as ever our only creative player but he didn't really have much of an impact Warnock - 6, thought he was quite solid today, just a bit off the pace Weimann - 8, lots of effort, quality finish. Exciting future for him Agbonlahor - 6, tried hard but didn't really get the delivery he needed and then skewed the only chance he had N'zogbia - 3, useless, no impact, want him out of the club and sure as shit wasn't injured Gardner - 5, no impact Heskey - 6, the few touches he did have were good and we probably could have used his physicality today
  5. The last two games Bannan has been shite. Then again I'm not sure how he has ever earned the hype he gets
  6. Tbf Weimann just went through a Stoke player and got nothing. I'm kind of glad the ref is letting this go. Villa v Stoke is always scrappy and a bit physical
  7. Does anyone else think Weimann would be a good partner for Bent? He does a lot of the work that Bent doesn't do, a bit like Robbie Keane
  8. Ok for some reason it has only REALLY hit me today that we might get relegated and how awful that would be. It would be a travesty if McLeish was allowed to stay in charge after this season. Just imagine having to tune into The Football League Show...
  9. Get well soon buddy. Hardest working player on the pitch.
  10. This thread is a perfect summary of Villa fans attitudes. It's a free signing. Let's face it, hardly any of us really know anything about him. If he went to Wigan or something (i.e. any team including a shit team) everyone would be saying "why is it we never sign these players when they're available, we don't even have money for wages blah blah blah" and then if we do sign someone it's "McLeish is shit, [signing] is shit, what does this say about our club, Lerner out, waste of money cos of wages blah blah". Literally I don't think either of them can win. I am no fan of McLeish, but seriously this is getting ridiculous
  11. Rolf Harris knocked me over in a book shop and didn't say sorry. I brushed myself off and told him he was very rude. I've never felt so British and important
  12. I really don't get the moaning. Shit Nike kits from a company that didn't give a shit about us and didn't pay much, or a company who look perfectly ok to me, are proud to have us on board and are paying us shedloads?
  13. I feel genuinely sorry for McLeish. He has inherited such a pile of shit of O'Neill's making
  14. There is no player in a Villa shirt who I dislike more than that heap of shite
  15. Well if we injure all of their players we might win yet
