  1. Really? I don't see it. Then again I am looking at it through rose tinted spectacles of yonder. For me the general era of Beckham, Keane, Giggs, Scholes, Ronaldo, Veira, Petit, Bergkamp, Henry etc was far better than it is now. What was that? 15 years back? Game seems to lack the passion and bite of those days. I guess the players are fitter now for sure. Maybe quality was the wrong word - perhaps excitement is word I was looking for? Then again, the teams from 7 down in the Premier League now are (IMO) pretty poor.
  2. The Rams and Chargers would love that level of support in LA!
  3. I think he wanted an aisle seat and she booked him a seat in the middle of the row. She's also booked it at the NEC and he is worried about parking and the amount of traffic and the time it will take to get back on the M6 afterwards. She's lucky she got away with a light slap
  4. They are having a bad run but if they get rid of Pulis they get relegated IMO
  5. Top level football as a sport for the fans died years ago. It's just a business now with a weakening product. The standard of football (imo) has been on a downward trajectory for a number of years. I genuinely would love to see it all come crashing down.
  6. I don't think he has the Miami Beach look
  7. I don't think the love is to do with the acting or storyline...
  8. Any hot cosplay women there?
  9. Watched the first episode of the Punisher last night.
  10. I like AC/DC. Have quiet a few of their tunes on my Spotify 'Train to Work' playlist. Saw a decent tribute act of them in Rock City in Phuket a few years back.
  11. Just found out Villa won! I had no idea we were even playing today, which unfortunately shows how far my love of the game has dwindled from what it used to be. Still, nice we won!
  12. Combination of people living far longer, lack of education about pensions and naivety has created this. You can't expect to pay £50 a month into a pension for 20 years and get £1500 a month out of it for 30 years when you retire. There has to be more education about these things. I have mates in their late 30's / early 40's and they have only started paying into a pension. I worry about them.
  13. I bet there are hundreds of high streets suffering similar fates. Not specifically polish shops, but just looking tired and run down. I'm not sure if its down to economic reasons or people just having less pride in the areas they live in, or a combination of both?
  14. How can you tell? Is it my tight jeans?
  15. As a minimum. Probably 5 a day when I had the house to myself.
