Seems all too 'bitty' at the minute. What are peoples plans? Just invest in everything and hope one blows up and increases 10000%? Is there any method to your strategies? Just curious. I spent a bit of time looking at it pre-Xmas but i'm probably going to invest in 'traditional' ways like bonds, equities and funds. I probably won't 'get rich quick' but steady growth over 20 years should see me very comfortable by my mid 50's

Agreed. Its taken years to get rid of the bad apples and would't want to jeopardise that. He did great for us but I don't believe he has any lasting affection for us. We were a means to an end.

He's always been looking ahead for his next move/payday. He was immense for us but he was always looking to leave. I have good memories of him but he'll never be a 'legend' or villa great in my eyes. He could have been so much better if he put some effort in

Thing is, Gold, Sullivan and Brady were trying to do the exact same thing at small heath that they did at West Ham. They were angling for the council to build them a free stadium over the NEC way that they would move into. Opportunists! Least Xia respects out tradition and wouldn't move us out of VP.

I think you are right. Upton Park gave then an edge. Fans very close to the pitch and I imagine it could feel intimidating. Now they are playing in an athletics stadium that they somehow got for free while the dildo salesman profit from the sale of the old ground.

He's changed the whole culture at the club. Took a wee bit of time but its a completely different atmosphere to last season.
