  1. Our lowest goals scored in a season is 32 according to the oracle that is wikipedia. 1971 - 72 We need some 2nd half of the season to even get to that level. A potential further record for good old Paul.
  2. 11 goals in 19 games, what is the record for our lowest number of goals in a season, and we are on the break the number of red cards surely. The records keep tumbling well done Mr Lambert.
  3. I am finding it frustrating with the animations half a second behind what instructions I have given on the game pad, the ball either runs away from the player, the tackle comes after the player has gone, the shot is taken too late so the defender can get a block in. The AI is really very frustrating especially when defending against pace, and I am with you on the lower rated players being like Messi. I played West Ham the other day and Enner Valencia just ran rings round my defence because of his pace and dribbling.
  4. Reviews on this one are looking pretty favourable on the whole. Most reviewers saying you get 85 - 90 hours play out of it. Think this might be where I lay my cash down for a game this month.
  5. How anyone can defend Lambert after this the bloke needs to go we are terrible.
  6. Lambert is simply one of the symptoms of the disease we have at the top of the club. We will not resolve symptoms until we remove the disease. Lerner for his part has tried to resolve Lambert of all blame for the last two seasons, and no doubt should we continue to decline he will continue to say it is his fault not Lambert's. It is very easy to do this when you are over 3000 miles away and do not have to face the ire of the fans on a day to day basis. So no matter how bad it gets Lambert always has an excuse. "I have asked the world of Paul Lambert and Paul Faulkner and they have both delivered selflessly"
  7. It's beyond a joke really. An owner who wants out, whilst spending nothing. The manager who at any other club would have been sacked by now. Players the managers had bombed out of the squad for two seasons suddenly back in the squad. Tactics which make no sense. Players in the squad who are not fit to wear the shirt. What a terrible way to be entering the season!
  8. Is this the worst Defence we have ever put out in any game? Properly rubbish.
  9. Joe Bennett is a really terrible footballer.
  10. Microsoft appear to me to be on the back foot, kicking off the briefing by saying the whole event will be about games, when 12 months ago you sold the console as media hub device. A very confused model. Oh well still glad I bought the PS4.
  11. The Mrs just purchased me a shiny new ps4 with watch dogs, very happy Saturday evening!!
  12. Totally agree with Aston Martin, Chelsea are owned by abramovich as a play thing, similar to a super yacht, Man city are owned by the mansour family as a means to market Abu Dhabi on the world stage, so that when the oil runs dry they have enough assets and prestige brands that the country maintains a position on the world stage. Liverpool owned by the Fenway group are a structured investment with potential hopes of a financial return in the future. If we are purchased by US investors then I am guessing that we will be more the Liverpool way than man city or Chelsea. I am fine with that but don't expect to be blown away with signings.
  13. Surely it is about smart business choices, get the right manager, purchase the right players, sort out the coaching, scouting etc. Then invest whatever money you have wisely I do not think we will be Man City or Chelsea spending but at the same level as Spurs or Liverpool then we can make a go of it. As long as we stay in the league of course!!
  14. We reak of relegation candidates. This is really not good enough again.
  15. Jake the snake's speech at the HOF induction was extremely good. God him and his family have been through the mill and back.
  16. Might turn off now cannot really top that first 25 minutes, we have been excellent!
  17. I should not have read this thread late last night. I ended up having a nightmare about Lambert getting the sack and Tony pulis being brought in as his replacement. It was horrible. Anyway just no to the original question.
  18. we are not as bad as today showing, and we are not as good as we seemed last week. we are a team in transition building for the future. good days and bad are part of the journey.
  19. I thought he played really well today was really impressed. He deserves his place in the team on this showing.
  20. Hahaha.. They are so so wrong. I was always of the understanding that if Lambert wanted it he had a lot more than just £20 million, it's all he needed though. BBC are retarded. He contradicts himself in the same sentence. Bloody idiot, how can you bring in players if you have no money!
  21. BBC Final Score pundit Matt Holland: "Paul Lambert has brought players in with hunger who are going to battle and believe. It's going to have to work for him, because Aston Villa have got no money." What the hell is he talking about we spent £20 million in the summer.
  22. We are definitely in trouble with this side, its truly awful.
  23. Appears to be a Twitter Miss understanding from what i have just read.
  24. I just think Lambert appears to be a manager destined to manage us. He just seems like a Villa manager, not massively exciting or revolutionary, will be progressive and will get us some decent results and take us back to our natural place in the pecking order i.e. somewhere between 6th and 9th. We will have a few good runs in the cup. The cycle will probably be good for three to four years at which point he will leave by mutual consent. If it is Lambert, then welcome to (Claret and Blue Glasses on!) the greatest club in the world.
  25. Well IF it is all confirmed.... Then welcome Ole may your reign be a long and succesful one...
