You say this but I'm waiting to start my job and have been for a while. It's so mind-numbingly boring. I just need something to occupy my time. As Travis once said: the grass is always greener on the other side! I can easily occupy myself if not at work. I can spend the time actually filling my mind with something useful or interesting. I would also be able to find the time to do some physical exercise as well.

Yeah, one of the reasons I dislike their football club so much. A wonderful city, spoiled by it's football club. I've got many good friends who support Newcastle. I can have a decent conversation about football with about half a dozen of them. The rest I just don't bother with. They still don't understand that they would have got the same from any other set of fans in the country. I feel the same about Scouserpool. Scouserpool are the worst, I think everyone agrees there. I do love how central St James' is.

The China town was pretty impressive and I found a shop that sold my Korean noodles so result there. I did get quite a lot of goading post match though. Still seems like they haven't forgiven us for relegating them and royally taking the piss.

What sort of night out are you after? Do you want cheep drink? Nice drink? Good music? Chart and Dance stuff? Classy girls? Slags? Strippers? Nice drink, followed by cheap drink, followed by good music. I'm not allowed girls. Stick around the bars by the train station then. I'd recomend Starting up by the football statium. Get yourself in the Trent House, then move on to Northumberland Arms, which is great for Real Ale, then head through China Town to Tilleys, then The Forth, then Gotham Town for a few cheap ones. The local Wetherspoons (The Union Rooms) is near by too. Head of Steam is open till about 2 I think (it was the last time I was there anyway) and they usually have great music. If you head towards the Queyside, there's a Brew Dog pub too, which is worth a visit. The Telegraph is a great little boozer too, which is about a 10 min walk from the station. How was your weekend oop norf then mate (the match aside)? Did you manage to get in any of my recommended boozers? Yeah was a great weekend apart from the obvious. I learnt very early on to avoid 'The Gate'. We visited Northumberland Arms and Brew Dog so I had my fix of ales. We were going to Head of Steam but the bar made in the Northumberland put some of my mates off by saying it was "heavy metal". We ended up in the Academy which played quite a lot of heavy metal incidentally. Suited me, was a top night.

I have a season ticket and go to a fair few aways and I've seen my team win 2 games this season (missed Cardiff). I don't know how I can justify this anymore.
