  1. No, I still don't get any. I don't believe that. I swear it was you that used to rest your phone in your erogenous zones.
  2. Avoiding halal rules out a lot of kebabs though.
  3. Has anyone's notifications on their VT app gone bonkers?
  4. Have you already booked it? Bit of a faff but if you book it separately via certain stations (on your trip I reckon maybe Banbury, Birmingham, Sheffield, York- not necessarily all of them!) it should be cheaper. It shouldn't be so difficult though and quite expectedly most people don't go to the trouble which is why fares stay so high. Not booked yet, waiting for another option to pop up and save me. I'll have a look, will have to work the route out and be prepared to change a lot. Are you intending to go Oxford - Newcastle and back entirely with Cross Country ? I dunno is that the country that does the route? We do yes. Not sure about timings that you may have looked at though Company not country. Anyway I'd be looking at going up earlyish on Saturday and after the game on Sunday.
  5. When you see Eliza Dusku you see what I would see as a duck. From my perspective you are really attracted to ducks.

  8. If football had faces and heels like wrestling, would Aston Villa be a face or a heel?
  9. Does anybody know a good method or web-site for getting flight combinations for a multi stop trip?
  10. Losing to us should be an instant sacking for any teams manager

The city of Chiang Mai is definitely not better than Bangkok, but it has all the good excursions available.
  12. How much is it? Tamworth to Brum is about £7.50 which I whinge about as well.
  13. I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.
  14. At least there's no danger of missing any England games.
  15. We did get a pretty similar occasion with Senegal beating France in the opening game of 2002. EDIT: Next time I'll finish the article before commenting
  16. She doesn't actually support Villa. Yet.
  17. Trains are now the preserve of the wealthy. They are no longer run as a public service, but as a profit making operation for the benefit of the shareholder. Thank you Tories/Major. They 'get away' with the fares they charge because people pay those fares. Like yourself. They may moan and say thing like 'bloody rip off', but if people then pay those fares, they'll keep charging them. Thus train travel becomes for the well off only (onless you are 'lucky' enough to find a cheap ticket, 2 months in advance, at 6am, on an inconvenient train on a date that you don't really want to travel on) Yep, true, I am trying to avoid rail whenever possible now. How much profit dot he bastards make though? Surely there should be some measures in place to control how much profit can be made at the expense of consumers that need the service. Don't get me started on peak time fares. How can most other countries I've been to provide a much superior service at a fraction of the price? Is rail publicly owned in places like Germany? I could be wrong but I think German rail is state owned and they also own part of the British franchises. Your £136 will improve German rail. Good I plan to **** off there and use their improved facilities.
  18. It takes a special talent to make declaring your love for the opposite sex so ghey.

  20. Oxford. No megabus'. I did check National Express which was more reasonably priced but a 17 hour round trip.
