  1. I used to be a season ticket holder as a teenager and through some adulthood. I stopped when I had a child, it was just over £500 for upper holte when I stopped. He decided this year he wanted to go to Villa games so I got two memberships, so far he's loved it and so have I. I've had to scrap a few other things I used to do but it's been worth it for purely personal reasons. I chose Europe over Everton solely based on cost and I'm missing Brighton as he has a Dodgeball tournament. I'm planning on going to as many home games as possible this season and I'm prepared to make sacrifices for that but I'm already at my upper limit of available cash, I guess I'm lucky then. I won't roll over and be rogered though
  2. This is a weird one for me.. as Thunderball says as a once every so often experience its probably not that bad, although I can see it being more expensive for bigger matches. I'm assuming the Trinity seat will be in A4/A5 somewhere as they are the most expensive. As a £60 per match bolt on to a season ticket I personally don't see the value, that is just my opinion, some folk might do it as a one off but £1100 per season extra for a buffet is quite a lot and miles out of my pockets. A season ticket used to be seen has the best you could be, now it appears you now have 5 levels of corporate above you now. As a member I am privileged to be able to get tickets these days and will be taking my 10 year old to most matches now but in the not to distant future I can see it being 70% season tickets and 20% corporate and 10% left for regular fans. Will the street food still be available outside the ground too or will that be going in favour of being able to charge people extra.
  3. Not even a good scalp beating these lot anymore, Brighton will be harder
  4. If they'd gone with £20 and £10 concessions they may have got close to 35k... Bit of greed setting in down B6. I think many have prioritised Europe
  5. Maybe they are waiting on delivery of the new pound a pee (two a poo) toilets.
  6. Very Lee Child there On a serious note, it sounds a lot like you were railroaded onto their agenda and off yours. More and more expensive hospitality for corporate types to watch 70 mins of football in between cocktails and fizz. If being successful encourages more of this, then I might prefer being back in the championship with no chance of selling hospitality (tongue in cheek but with a serious looking face)...
  7. Managed to get row A, In A2 for this one, lad doesn't like bars or people in front of him. Nice surprise for his birthday on 4th
  8. I'm glad it's not just me who thought it was quiet again
  9. Oh, and Zaniolo was good but some decision making was a bit sketchy, he'll settle down. 22 mins of extra time played lol
  10. Never in doubt that wasn't, Palace were not great, almost felt sorry for their 250 fans. Duran MOTM, his energy changed the game when he came on. I was in line with Diaby for his non goal and I wasn't sure. Apart from the ref holding his ground against VAR for the pen he was pretty bad. 85 mins for the atmosphere to get going, deffo summat wrong with the Holte
  11. They get greyhounded out of the community and go into whippetness protection
  12. Enters this thread Leaves without touching the sides
  13. Been doing it since Mar 2020, only going in now once or twice a week
  14. Might have to ask the boss for a loan so I can get some in my window.
  15. I'm sacrificing this for the euro package, my pockets can't take it
  16. I've gotta wait till 21st late evening when I'm paid, hoping there's some left. Good 3 match package though
  17. I'm in the same boat, smaller family. I've sacrificed the Everton game
  18. I hate ordering stuff online, it's so hit and miss
  19. It looks OK on a series x with 55" OLED on HDR game settings, no idea what the FPS might be. I think it's gonna take some work on my part to get me off COD
