I'm listening to a swedish podcast called When we were kings. It's about different football clubs or national teams successfull seasons, like when wimbledon won the FA cup, etc. Really good podcast. Anyway, listening to it there are more than a few players popping up that I'd completely forgotten about. Like these: Guti (I know, he was rather good but kind of disappeared as a name when they started their "Galacticos" era.) Georgy Kinkladze Andreas Jakobsson (Swedish CD playing for southampton '03-'04) Torben Piechnik (Also forgot that former Villa hero Kent Nielsen was part of the danish national team that won the EC in Sweden '92.) And many more.

But if I'm just clutching I should be forgiven after spending the last two hours catching up in the thread having learned a lot of english names for different fishes.

I always want Villa to win, but a small part of me would hate it if we win today. Our first win against manure at VP in a million years and it's a bloody friendly.

Watched the game on my mobile and there was a delay of a couple of minutes, which meant that I got from another app that Konsa had scored about 2 minutes before he did and naturally I got the final result too before he scored. It took some from the instant happiness, but on the other hand I got to cheer about 4 times. A much needed win, we all know that. And as someone said earlier in the thread: We deserved it. That's even better. We can still get better, but this was an improvement. I put Reina as MotM. His distribution is better than we've seen from a Villa keeper in a long time and I think he can become very important for us this season. He might even be an improvement on Heaton.

And the first thing he does is to turn to our fans. Hope someone kicks him out of the game. Guilbert must be closer to him there.

Bought it about a week ago and started to play it last Tuesday. I'm not a gamer so there are few games that really catch me, but this one did. I was home "sick" all week and played it almost day in, day out. I almost never do that. It's perfect for me Tomb Raider/Uncharted (my favourite game) meets Star Wars. Kind of. Not finished yet, but I feel I'm getting close. Don't really want it to end, but play it at every chance.

Watched Yesterday, well, yesterday. Disappointed. It wasn't awfull but could've been done so much better. Not very funny at all, rather poor acting and a weak story that could've been done better with. And Ed Sheeran. I expected it at least to be a lot more fun. I think I laughed a little two or three times. The best part was probably in the end when he met... And the thought of a world without Oasis is quite nice.

Yeah, I know the conspiracy about his death and all that, but I didn't know that the man said to replace him actually had a name. Never thought of that, actually. But now I did Mooney it and realisedthat that's even the name of the whole conspiracy. There are weird people in this world.

Seen 5 or 6 episodes and I like it, but I think I understad what you mean. I like the idea, though. It's a bit slow but in general I think it's good. Good enogh for me to watch 5 or 6 episodes in one night even though I really needed to go to bed. Yet to finish it.

Can't we hand in a protest to FA. A tackle like that can't go unpunished. It's not bad luck. He follows through. He can make that tackle without cutting him in half. And if he can't, then he shouldn't make it at all. I'm all for a hard and clean tackle, but this isn't clean. And what makes me more angry is that if the Gomez incident is anything to go by it's just another "shit happens"-situation.

Flad to come on here and see that most of his biggest doubters gave him loads of creds for his game yesterday. Not so great to see some only pointing out his spelling, but not surprised. His best game all season, really looking up for it and then that tackle. My first thought wa that even though he got the ball it looked uncontrolld, and the replays showed the sam thing He didn't have that tackle under control and we should at least have got a freekick and Mee a yellow. The pictures shows a red. Can't understand how the ref and VAR let that one go. And where's Roy Keane when you need him? Really hope for a speedy recovery. This will probably be rather expensive for us. We really, really need a good striker/forward in now and other clubs will know that. And we need another one too, probably. And then we'll have to pay a club to take Kodjia.
