Not in midfield though, Cash needs to play right back or not at all.
-
I am on board with that tbf

My one issue with these stats when you see the “converting two points for a win to three” is I’m sure many of the draws in those old seasons would have been wins if there were extra points on the table (that’s why they introduced the rule after all). Still, I won’t argue with the Emery love!
-
Christ I had blocked out that backpass until you just mentioned it
-
Do you think any of them skipped watching the World Cup final and were unaware of Emi’s character until now?
-
Agreed, he’s got so so much potential.
-
I’ll trust the only World Cup winner in our history to know what goes into fighting for a trophy, even if he does some stupid stuff sometimes. Although I do agree it’s a teachable moment for him and he has a great teacher in Emery to do that.
-
It was stupid but if anyone DIDN’T think Emi has something of a screw loose I’d be surprised! Just got played by Maupay but he’s wound up enough people in his time and on the biggest stage…

Please Santa let me just have this for Christmas

Beat Sheffield United at home to go top. Won our last 15 at home. 1-0 loss with Cameron Archer scoring then…

Ten points clear of 7th, so top 6 is looking promising - and that’s progress on last season. Now let’s kick on!

Usually he has the maturity of someone who has been playing for 8 seasons, but he’s also only just turned 24. Allowed the occasional lapse if he learns from it.
-
Can’t see it. Was never going to hurt the guy but they aren’t downgrading anyone who pushes someone in the throat.

Delighted to win. Delighted with Mee red. Stupid to get sucked into that brawl. Fell into Maupay’s trap. We were 2-1 up in the 98th minute - why not just leave him laying down? And it’s ended up costing us Kamara for three games. Still - we showed we can mix it and win, and that has value in itself.

I think he’ll be RWB not RW - that lineup to me says a 3-5-2 to compensate for Dougie missing. We will see though, Emery is smarter than me.

It’s a nice connection but Comcast being a backer of the firm is a long way from saying the firm is Comcast or Comcast-owned.
-
With respect this shows an absolute lack of appreciation of how Unai has approached Europe throughout his career.
-
Winner in the ECL final. Header from a DL corner.
-
I’m biased obviously in this statement but Kamara and Luiz are the best central midfield in the PL right now - so that’s a big ask. I can definitely see him displacing Ross Barkley, Sean Longstaff or an out-of-position Lewis Cook, for some examples from today from teams ranging from CL to relegation.

Think we must be talking about a different pass, I’m talking about the one the guy slid in on Duran and flicked it away.

Agreed, that was a great pass and Duran’s little tantrum was because he’s 19 and he’d waited a second too long to knock it forward, not because Zaniolo should have done something different.

More to the point we haven’t had the injuries Spurs and Newcastle have because Emery knows how to manage games and a season, not just go 100% from the first minute to the last then be surprised when players are crocked.
-
He’s the most successful manager in PSG’s history.
