  1. Please don't share publicly on VT who that relates to. Without full context, nothing good can come of it.
  2. You're right. It should. I can understand the player version being that price. It costs what it costs - they've got to make the best kit for the athlete. The replica prices are outrageous though. Still, it'd probably be about £40 if it wasn't caked in leftist iconography.
  3. Shit manager. I'd sooner crawl bollock naked down the M6 rolling a pea under my nose than watch a team managed by this word removed.
  4. George was Turkish wasn't he? That's why I done turquoise for Joe Hart. And royal blue shorts cos I'm a traitor.
  5. Sorry. That one was me as well. ****. Did I invent woke?!
  6. We actually got more flak for launching this one which was a LITERAL GEORGE CROSS. Because England don't play in red.
  7. I actually designed the 2010 shirt too. Peter did the graphic concept with @PauloBarnesi. We blatantly spelt out that it was representative of the fabric of modern England.
  8. I turned 45 yesterday. Think I was about 23 when I started posting on the original VT.
  9. Good result at a tough place to go - particularly with key players missing. This is a team that is in the Europa League QF and, had they won today, would've been a point behind Man Utd. They might play crap football, but they're very effective. Take the point, get home.
  10. If Ben Mee had done that to Jacob Ramsey we'd have wanted him sent to prison. We've just got to suck this one up, sadly.
  11. Looks like he's got a sore neck and his name is (kind of) "My neck"
  12. I tried really hard not to put "she didn't start the fire" but if I'd known this was in the pipes I'd have gone straight in. Superb work.
  13. I didn't know that, so it's good insight. For me, there's a clear difference between Pep's almost robotic system and how Emery sends his teams out. There's the requirement for tactical understanding and discipline, but there also seems to be a lot of trust in the individual to express themselves. In some respects, that may be even harder. When to deploy the instructions and when to trust your instincts. As Bailey proves, though, if you can figure it out the results are outstanding.
  14. To add to that, I won't presume that everyone on VT knows my life story, but my nephew was stabbed and killed in Sutton Coldfield in 2020 so I'm speaking from experience here.
  15. So sorry to hear that mate. Once things have settled down, the Dad could benefit from channelling his grief into something positive. The Daniel Baird Foundation would be a good start. They focus on putting bleed control kits where they might be most needed. Nothing will make up for the loss of his son, but your friend will feel a bit better if he can save the life of somebody else's.
  16. I've always been a Fluoxetine kinda guy. The original and still the best
  17. Let's not underestimate the level of tactical nous required to play Emery's system. Coaching it into a player with years of top-level experience is always going to happen quicker than a young kid, regardless of background.
  18. If only we had previous experience of signing a jet-heeled, box-o-tricks winger from Leverkusen who had only shown his ability in flashes before coming good... This guy isn't a Milot Rashica (whatever happened to him?!). He's a full French international we signed from a regular Champions League team. WHEN we have him and Leon full throttle, the streets better be ready!
  19. Well that's a **** relief. I'll get on the phone with the bank and let them know there's some sort of mistake with my business current account.
