I don't mind him, he just seems a bit naive and from that I really don't expect anything from him too intelligent so it's all good. A bit like Gabby, but in a Liverpool shirt. Souness on the other hand, he clearly has the brain but hates anybody that's against Liverpool. He would be happy with us if we pull our pants down and let Liverpool beat us 7-2, just not the other way round.

Did he get the job due to his Liverpool link? Only realised he was in charged for their glorious 0-5 defeat to Aston Villa B Team in the League Cup a few years back. What a total waste of space and time.

If he pulled the trigger at or before the international break when things were so clear this isn't going to work I would have no problem with Purslow, but not really sure now. That's 4 games, with 3 easy games wasted.

Positives: Players are not as bad as they are now, we have seen them playing better before. Players just need to get that motivation going again, it's clear they do not play for the current dud. Only a few points from getting to top of the bottom half. World Cup is up, new manager will have more time with the team. Negatives: Purslow still hasn't made his **** move

When you just had a hard earned draw against Manc $ity, and your manager turnaround and said you didn't follow his gameplan and instructions, then I kind of get why players performance may drop off somewhat. There is blame, but it's easy enough to see the cause of it -
