  1. And fingers crossed that we don't have an injury at centre back during this one!
  2. Interesting - we thought he'd need to choose between Ayew and Grealish out left - but he's instead gone with Kodjia out there and surprised us with Gestede. I wonder if that's to take advantage of an aerial weakness.
  3. I don't think we're ready to hand out a drubbing - I think we're more likely to lose by three goals than win by three. I think we could edge it by the odd goal in three, but I fancy a draw and I'd be happy with one.
  4. He is - and you're right, he's not necessarily to blame here. I have a feeling that the league might throw a book or two here - I can see bans for more than Aguero and Fernandinho.
  5. Although over the course of a decade he's proved a horrible human being and it's impossible to not take a little delight in seeing someone grab him around the throat is it?
  6. I thoroughly enjoyed the ending of that one - christmas off for half a dozen of those please. I do love to see two teams have a bit of a brawl. Even game, Citeh can be upset with the refereeing, Chelsea are ruthless and nasty - all is as it should be.
  7. Goals and evil. If there were ever two signs that Chelsea are in title winning form, that's them.
  8. It is - having Fabregas around the throat and not managing to actually hurt the horrible sneering little tit. Wasted opportunity.
  9. Bitter and contentious. Good. That might make things more interesting.
  10. Pah. Running away from the ball and across the player - its shoulder to shoulder if both are trying to get to the ball. Luis was trying to get to Aguero. Gone off in a big way now - two red cards for Citeh and Fabregas getting a couple of nudges from the crowd after he was pushed over the hoardings.
  11. And as if by magic, on he comes. Citeh fans will be very very unhappy with todays referee - and they'll have point, they could have had a couple of penalties and Luiz should have been sent off in the first half - however, it masks a sort of frailty in their ability to score more than one type of goal. City are very good at being exactly city - there is no surprise in them.
  12. There's a fairly straightforward line here - if you work for someone, or you take a wage from a business you own, then you're probably not better off under a neoliberal system - if on the other hand, your income is largely derived from investment dividend or land, you probably are. No one with a wage should believe that neoliberalism has them at heart.
  13. I think a draw. Despite our excellent results and our continued improvement through Bruce's run, I'm still not convinced we're quite in control of games - we're much more solid though and we have great individual threats. A point from this one and three when we play them at our place over christmas would be just fine thank you very much.
  14. I might be wrong, but I don't think RHM played at all under RDM.
  15. There seems to be a number of hints in the that press conference hat Haye's life outside the ring has a few issues.
  16. 11-13 seems possible. It would be nice to finish 2016 unbeaten at home for the season so far. We're unbeaten in ten and Wigan, Burton and Leeds is possible I think.
  17. I'm wondering if he'll bring Gardner back in away from home to give us that bit more solidity. If he does, there's an interesting choice to make between Grealish and Ayew for the remaining forward spot.
  18. Round said he's as good a defensive coach as there is in the country and he was at home doing nothing. He's now coaching our young defenders, working with the occasional first teamer when Bruce requests it and doing a bit of scouting for us too.
  19. “Time ticks by; we grow older. Before we know it, too much time has passed and we've missed the chance to have had other people hurt us. To a younger me this sounded like luck; to an older me this sounds like a quiet tragedy.” ― Douglas Coupland
  20. We may be taking a bit of a beating, but it appears we've found a batsman in Hameed who really has something.
  21. This India side bat frustratingly well.
  22. A shame he didn't find time to condemn the American torture camp that they've been running in Cuba for the past twenty years - or to explain what he means by hoping for freedom - I'm guessing it means the same freedom the US has demonstrated to the likes of Haiti?
