  1. Jedinak looks so much better in a three. Kodjia hasn't scored yet, so I have us mentally 2-1 up. I think they'll come flying out of the traps second half and really come at us - it might just work for us on the break.
  2. That is absolutely nothing like a foul. Amavi was quicker than him, Knockaert dived.
  3. Did Westwood just make a sixty yard run into the box?
  4. I don't think that's a foul. Edit: I do on the replay.
  5. It looks pretty even at this point - they look fluid when they get into attacking positions - we look physically capable of doing something, especially through Kodjia.
  6. Ah. I see. I didn't even feel the draught as it went by.
  7. Agent for who? He's never stepped foot in Villa Park has he?
  8. Brighton are rivals with Palace apparently. Every day's a school day.
  9. The keeper, back four and midfield are all perfect for the occasion. The front three are a risk - but of that front three, Kodjia is a threat and Adomah we know will work hard - it's a surprise to see Gabby over Ayew (or Grealish) and I'd be a lot happier if it was Ayew, but the shape looks right - no pressure Mr Agbonlahor!
  10. It's bold. I'll give him that.
  11. Good Lord. I was working my way down that list and thought - ah, good - three in the middle - then bosh! That front three is a bit of an eye opener!! Surely Ayew - Kodjia - Grealish would be the more..erm..regular selection?
  12. I'm going with Kovalev. I prefer the power over the skill for this one.
  13. And while the country worked itself into a tizzy over racial politics, Mr Trump and his friends quietly emptied out its pockets and placed the contents with a corporate elite. 14. Ha ha! That lot eh? Bloody Hitlers the lot of em!
  15. In fairness, maybe he waited 2 months in order to give Boris time to fundamentally change his views on just about everything. He seems to have that in his locker.
  16. That's true, but it's not the point I was making - it's not that Trump is competent or not, it's that it's no longer a defining feature of a winning campaign - politics has moved on. The things that are happening in the way elections are being conducted makes a Corbyn victory possible, purely on the likelihood that things are more random - a young science is being perfected in the PR houses of our world - there's a move to 'feel', not fact - a move encouraged by politicians who don't have any use for facts and power that doesn't have a great deal of use for politicians.
  17. Looks like El Jefe is making Ben Carson his Secretary of Education - that's Ben Carson who believes that evolution is bunkum and the earth is 6,000 years old.
  18. Competence has very little to do with election results nowadays.
