    Crazy that Tony bought the entire club for £60m a few years ago and now we are in a position to turn down £100m for an academy player. Sod the Jamie vardy movie, there should be one made about us!

    It's brilliant that Ollie works so hard and that we as fans recognise how hard he works.... But how on earth is this a stand out quality for a professional athlete earning annual salaries over the course of a week. Why is 100% maximum effort not the standard for every professional footballer rather than the exception. For the money they earn and the lifestyle they have, with fans and coaching staff and club infrastructure all set up to help them achieve, footballers should not have to be defined by how hard they work. Total Effort and hard work should be the standard!!

    I once played in an under 15s game where one of the opposition drove to the game (!?) then proceeded to ragdoll our full team for the entire match. Carney reminds me of that fella/ ringer

    Love how he has worked on his weaknesses. He used to get caught under the ball so much allowing opposition chances at the far post but that is all but gone from his game. Must be a delight to coach a player so receptive to coaching. Much credit to him and the staff

    Fairly unsurprised by this article. From day 1 he came across as an arrogant, superior spoiled clearing in the woods. Even before he came to villa I never liked his demeanour on or off the pitch.

    Watched "Get Out" again last night. Think I actually preferred it the second time as there are lots of little clues and symbolism dotted around that I missed first time round. Super film

    When did we last have a big physical imposing centre midfielder? I genuinely can't think of one since Taylor but am obviously missing someone. In my head we always seem to have wee fellas running about in our midfield.
