    So just to clarify, if I don't have a sky box but can access now TV on my smart telly, do I need to purchase a sky sports subscription before I can get a PPV match. Or can i just pay the £15 as a one off? May be a moot point as I imagine ill be going for paddle down a wee river on Sunday instead but would be nice to understand my options

    Biggest crime for me was starting Maguire over Mings. Maguires form has dropped off a cliff and Ty has never put a foot wrong for England. I also imagine that the other players may be pretty annoyed not seeing jack play. He would be a joy to be on the same side as and players generally like winning games . Reckon Southgate could lose the dressing room at this rate

    typically late to the party but just finished season 1 of The Bridge (Swedish version) . Though it was excellent. Can anyone advise if the second and third season are worth watching - dont want to spoil the first one if they go downhill

    I have no real problem if Jack doesn't play in the next two England games. The concern and anger during the Wales game that started bubbling up when I saw him play with strapping then get kicked and holding his ankle confirmed that. He's proved his point, achieved a goal of his by starting for England, now let's focused on winning the league with villa. For full disclosure I'm norn Irish so understand you guys will have more of a vested interest in England's success than myself!

    no stats to back this up but another positive from the new look Villa is that Jack seemed to get kicked a lot less last night. Probably due to the fact that he didnt have to hold on to the ball so much as there was always a pass on, and that there were other dangerous players on the pitch so he didnt get targeted so much. can only be a good thing

    he was killing the ball stone dead when receiving those huge diagonal balls across the park. like, it looked like he was trapping a bag of sand cos it just stuck to his foot. was incredible. people used to purr over zidane doing this back in the day and jack has the same touch oooh spooky. think i posted my message at the same time as the one above and they both mentioned a zidane comparison

    Really sports journalism has now just become who can make up lies in the most creative ways on the best platform with the hope of getting it right on the odd occasion by pure fluke. No such thing as building up relationships, unearthing sources or investigating the truth. Experience or qualifications or intelligence no longer matter. It's all about the number of clicks they receive at the end of the day. Or to put it more simply, all these sports journalists are a bunch of lying words removeds. In saying that I will continue to read and get excited by all these itk postings so I guess it works

    Thought he was really good in the second half against Stoke. DS said himself that he was livid and read them the riot act at half time. Maybe AEG is the kind of player that needs something like that to get him going. Both him and kienan strike me as the kind of characters that need a rocket up them to get them going and get the best out of them
