I know he seems to be the popular choice of whipping boy de jour but I enjoy watching traore play. He has a bit of unpredictability about him and granted he isn't quite on the teams wavelength but I think he is quite an exciting player with potential. He had a touch to control the ball in the opposition box in first half which was absolutely sublime.

1-1 Traore to score a class goal cutting in from the right and smashing one with his left foot. Jack to score the winner in the last minuteonly to be chalked off by var because he chose to wear the thick Alice band and it got flagged offside

I actually think that pundits are a bit hypocritical about the var situation in general. For years post game analysis has been spent on criticising the refs and linesmen for getting things wrong and using their own technology to prove it to the nth degree. Now they are moaning that refs are using the same tech to try to prove the same thing. Of course refs don't help themselves when they use the tech and still get the decision wrong but that's a whole different story -
Unforgivable to miss the target with a pen. Hit the target and even if the keeper saves it may end up back in play. Frustrating.

Alright who else thought he had completely spazzed that ball to Ollie for trez's chance only for it to end up perfect ?! -
Few points: 1. Var. Use thicker lines. If they overlap, let it go - it isn't clear and obvious then 2. Yes Jack was a bit divey. However, these dumb refs can't see a chokehold when staring a screen for 5 minutes so they aren't gonna catch a sneaky wee kick. Jack simply has to exaggerate it just to draw attention to it. If you don't want him to do that STOP KICKING HIM 3. Seems like every post game analysis is about var. I went to hear them talk about goals, tactics, moments of skill, defensive critiques. Not a bunch of people arguing vague points about something no one understands 4. If Ollie had scored a goal with the part of his arm they called offside it would not have been allowed 5. Traore > trez 6. Love Conor but watching him try to track back is like one of those dreams where you are trying to run away from a serial killer but your legs don't work properly

Just annoying that var felt like they had to get involved. iirc there wasn't great amounts of protest or pleas of innocence from Brighton. Which is usually pretty telling. I think they should introduce an nfl challenge flag system. Each manager has two chances to challenge a decision per game at which point the ref is obliged to look at video evidence of the incident. Otherwise the game flows based on the on the field refereeing. All frustrations aside it was a cracking game to watch. End to end stuff. Though I do feel we concede an unfair amount of "worldies"

I think that was something to do with him never having scored for England on a Wednesday or something daft. There was a shot of Tammy laughing cos he was getting subbed in but Kane had grabbed the ball for a free kick for one last go before he was taken off -

Love how the press phrase questions to try and bait him into a controversial comment. They were dying to be able to write something about jack thinking he is gazza or that rashford and sterling are rubbish. Just like they asked him about a transfer move on the pitch immediately after winning a game whilst he was knackered (may have been arsenal at the end of last season) Fair play he handled the questions maturely and gave them nothing dodgy for their headlines -

Oh Christ. Hopefully they'll not find my frankly embarrassing attempt to coin a jack grealish song to the tune of the stereophonics 'Local boy in the photograph' I must have been going through an awkward teenage phase (in my 30's) -
thought he was great last night and he even outmuscled Lukaku at one point which is no mean feat

I'd end up prematurely if I was dating her too to be fair

see this is kind of what worries me. billionaires dont become billionaires running charities or passion projects. If they weigh up the potential sale of jack based on a purely pragmatic, business decision then it probably makes sense to get rid. I say the sooner we get Jack hooked up with Mallory the more confident i'll feel of him staying

may be an unpopular opinion but I personally want to see Kane and Grealish playing together at club level and think it a disgrace that such a great talent is being held back by playing in an inferior team. therefore I hope to see us bidding for Harry in the winter transfer window -

I think Jamie redknapp wants to marry jack -
I want to like Truth Seekers so much but it is neither funny nor scary enough to hold my interest As for the comparison to the parapod I can see that but no character is quite as dopey or likeable as Barry Dodds. On that subject, anyone know how one could get to watch the Parapod Movie? Dying to see it

luckily Jack loves the pressure and is good enough to rise to it because all this nonsense does is put more of a spotlight on him when he actually does play. A lesser player would shrivel under this level of debate and scrutiny -

Im so confused why people don't understand how or why he is improving so well this season?! Didn't you hear, Southgate took him aside and told him to score more goals and get more assists. All credit is due to him -
Wish that fella in green would stop sitting on the fence and tell us what he really thinks
