Although it is 3-0 i'm struggling to think of any Villa player who has had a shocker. Normally 1 or 2 don't show up or make a really stupid mistake. This hasn't happened today. It is a gulf in class, rather than us shooting ourselves in the foot. That's a big positive surely??

Maybe for certain devices such as cameras that you may keep for a period of time, but 'consumables' like phones, tablets etc will all move to wireless charging in the next couple of years. You'll just leave your device on something like a Powermat overnight and it will charge. I agree that USB is a standard that may stay for a while, but will be used more when on the move, rather than at home.

I'll second the Sonos system, amazing!! Following on from the above, i wouldn't bother with USB either. I work in IT, and USB technology is changing so much in terms of speeds that whatever you get will be out of date in a couple of years. Massive well done Fabian, definitely deserved! He has shown a lot of character to not only rebuild his career after that cruciate injury in 2010, but to come back and become one of the first names on the Villa team sheet and now hopefully a regular England International. I still can't believe he is only 24, he seems to have been around forever! Sign him up!

If two teams are level on points, GD, GS, and head-to-head then Premier League rules state that they would have a playoff. I'd guess that they would have some sort of play-off tournament where games have to be decided, via penalty shootout if necessary. (I haven't quite worked out how this would work with 20 teams though.......)

English players never move abroad I wouldn't mind Cleverley at Villa, as he is a definite improvement on what we have, but it would make a refreshing change for a young English player to move abroad and learn a different approach to playing football. It can only improve him as a player, and he will be able to rebuild his reputation out of the limelight of the English press. There is a good player in there somewhere, otherwise he would have left United years ago.

I'd presume Baker was on the bench ahead of him, as Baker can cover both CB and LB. (Bacuna for RB). To be fair we needed Baker today when Cissokho got injured.

I use the E-Lites with prefilled tips, and they do come in different strengths.I started on the standard (red) ones and then moved down to the light (gold) ones. They don't offer an option with zero nicotine though. I'm pretty sure other manufacturers do, and you can eventually get down to ones with no nicotine at all.

i've been on the e-cigs for about 6 months now, but the battery always seems to go in the most inconvenient of places, so make sure that you always have a backup. I still have 1 or 2 real cigs a week, but they are starting to become less enjoyable and smell and taste is starting to put me off completely. Stick with it, I guarantee you will feel better in no time and I wouldn't really worry about the amount of nicotine you are taking in, just think about the amount of poisons and toxins that you aren't.......

I think he has a whole lot more to his game than the just being the 'big target man' though, that is just how Paul Lambert has decided to use him. He is mobile, quick, good on the deck, and has a lot more football intelligence than Carroll (fingers crossed those things are still there when he comes back from injury). Rodgers has already shown that he is looking at a 'plan b' by purchasing Rickie Lambert, who I would not have had down as a player who fits in Rodgers style of play. With Suarez going he may have to look at a new 'plan a' now, as they are not going to be able to replace Suarez like-for-like with the same level of quality.

I don't really care who wins, as long as it isn't Germany.........I think if they win then when we look back on the 2014 World Cup in 20-30 years time it will be remembered for a very controlled, sterile and solid Germany win, rather than the following- Netherlands winning their first ever World Cup, destroying the current holders 5-1 in their first game, crazy penalty shoot-out keepers, and Villa having a World Cup winning captain in their ranks. OR Argentina winning the World Cup on their arch-enemies soil, with Lionel Messi proving once and for all he is the greatest player of all time (in my opinion) by dragging a weak Argentine team through the competition. OR Brazil winning their own World Cup, after losing their star man with a broken back in the quarter final, and battling through despite fielding arguably their weakest team in World Cup history It might just be me, but I like a bit of 'romance' with my World Cup and it has definitely delivered so far, and any of the above happening will add to it. Germany winning it would take a lot of the romance out of the whole tournament,and make it less memorable as time goes on.

Fair play Greece. They maybe have 1 player who would be good enough for the Premier League, but as a team they play to their strengths and the whole is much greater than the sum of its parts. It might not be pretty but it gets the job done. Our national team should take note.........

After watching another inept performance tonight, I have a hypothetical question for everyone............if Ron was English would he have made our World Cup Squad? I think yes, maybe not as good as Cahill or Jagielka, but arguably better than Jones and definitely better than Smalling at this moment in time.

Bradley was a player bought in on a half season loan by a manager universally disliked by Villa fans. Where is the comparison? He was still a relative youngster, who we all wanted to have a look at and see if he could make it here. He played in a weakened team against far superior opposition and never came back from that. The same could happen to youngsters we throw in now. We all want to have a look at them, but if we throw them in now and they don't perform they'll be plenty of Villa fans who'll demand they're thrown on the scrapheap. What if he comes in against City and has a great game though? If he can perform against the potential league champions then any funds Lambert or whoever has set aside for an attacking midfielder could potentially be used to strengthen other areas of the squad.
