  1. Couldn’t handle another left footed right sided player!
  2. If we do sell Ramsey for 60m or whatever it is. Players like Eze, Gibbs White etc. should be on our radar. We may even pocket 10-15m in the process.
  3. Not bad. Just need Son to have a season ender now.
  4. Think we'll see Konsa tomorrow and Pau for 60 mins vs. Ajax.
  5. Funny how this guy is holding our season together. Honestly, what a signing.
  6. Just out of interest, who do we think could replace Luiz? I assume we’ll have a big fat pile of cash but interested to know who we could bring in
  7. Far too injury prone. He’s in an odd position at City. I don’t know what will happen with him next season.
  8. Very much doubt anybody is signing Kamara when he’s out with an ACL injury.
  9. That theme tune gonna slap at VP when we’re lining up against Barca. Shivers.
  10. Surprised to know on what basis.. Carlos is error prone and lax. Lenglet seems to be the better all round player for me and his performances this season have been superior to Carlos’.
  11. He's better than Carlos.
  12. It feels very much like the window will be heavily influenced by where Emery wants to play Konsa next year and the LB position. Konsa is absolutely a starter regardless of where he plays (because he's so good). If it's right back, then you could argue selling Cash raises funds and we already have adequate understudies in KN and KHH therefore that position is 'sorted'. However, I'd then expect us to be in the market for a starting centre half alongside Torres as Carlos has had a very underwhelming season. Whether or not we can shift him given his profile and wages remains to be seen. If Konsa is seen as a centre half then I fully expect us to sign a new right back with either Cash being sold/second choice and the others maybe being loaned out. Digne is primed to be sold in my opinion. Not because he isn't good enough but because he's on a gazillion quid a week and he's getting on a bit. Selling him would free up some space on the FFP front and Moreno is probably just as good all things considered for half the wages. I do actually think we may see Emery go in for a new left back. I think Moreno has been one of our weaker players this year and I'm convinced he's lost half a yard of pace. TLDR, we may see Villa playing with two new starting fullbacks next season.
  13. I hope you’re right. A few years without European football will massively affect their finances (if they aren’t f****** already).
  14. I think the idea is they’ve bought a lot of young players who individually have a lot of potential and they’ll click eventually. Whether they will or not remains to be seen.
  15. Every week. They’ll grind out a result / or get a dodgy decision. Bang average team. We shouldn’t even be competing with them. Hopefully injuries to Shaw and Hojlund hurt them.
  16. Win first. Goal difference second. Winning by 2 or 3 goals is more important than a lot will think. Adding 3+ here will be a sensational result. Even moreso if United fail to win. Come on Villa.
  17. If you posted this question in half my WhatsApp groups you’d get a very, very different set of responses..
  18. F*** it then, seriously, build a new stadium. I've long said that we need to be THE team in Birmingham. I doubt such a site exists, but how good would it be if any set of fans can get to New St, Snow Hill, Moor St. etc and just walk to the ground? I'm sure the BHX line runs into one of them stations too.
  19. Dumb question, but does a new stadium go against your FFP?
  20. Someone on X (formerly Twitter) mentioned the Smithfields site as a potential home for a new stadium.
  21. I’d also argue drawing at home to Sheff Utd is much worse than losing to Wolves at home.
