  1. Would love to make him permanent in the Summer and sell Carlos. However, I’m sure we won’t as Mings will be cover for Torres and if we ship Carlos out, we’ll need a right footed player to cover Konsa.
  2. Even a point isn’t a bad result for us but a United win would be a real blow.
  3. Going to be tough to shift Carlos I’d say. Maybe to the Middle East? Brazilian players seem to chase money but doubt we’d get much of a fee for him. Digne still has value because he’s a very good player.
  4. United are trash. They don’t deserve to be anywhere near us. In the coming weeks, I predict they’ll be fighting to stay 6th rather than thinking they’re still in a fight for 4th. In the unlikely event they are still in the CL race, they’ll have had a helluva lot of fortune. They’re just not that good.
  5. Feel as though he could turn in to a good striker one day. Has all the attributes.
  6. We’re not getting anywhere near City or Liverpool. We *may* catch Arsenal but even they are playing extremely well at the moment. It’s a race for 4th I’m afraid. I actually think we could win every game between now and the end of the season and potentially not win the league. Such is the form of the top 3 atm.
  7. Neto went off injured today as well. Hopefully it’s a nasty one.
  8. Turkey looks like it’s going to be his level. Unfortunately, it’s come 15yrs too soon for him.
  9. Focus on what he did with the ball rather than what he did without. I thought he was actually very good for the most part when asked to attack and given the ball in reasonably tight areas. Christ, I’d be much more worried if he was dreadful with the ball but always in the right place. Position, tactics etc. will come with coaching. Emery’s system demands a lot. It isn’t just, ‘go out there and play left mid’, it’s, ‘When he has the ball, you go there. When we have the ball, you need to be over here. If he moves infield, you need be there’. I’m much more concerned with the footballing aspect of his game given he’s so young and like I say, I thought he was very good for the most part.
  10. Looks to be a reoccurrence of his summer injury. If so, could see him out for a month at least. He’s just going to make it worse. A huge blow. We’re so lopsided without him.
  11. Yep. Better of the two. Starts next week for me. Call me bonkers, but given the injury to Ramsey, I wonder if Emery would start Moreno on the left of midfield..
  12. Would imagine it would be Diaby. No way he starts Zaniolo. Genuinely think he’d play Irroegbunam before Zaniolo.
  13. With Ramsey likely out, what’s our team against Spurs? Gives us a major headache.
  14. We need him badly for the run in. I actually thought Rogers was decent when he came on (not so much tactically), but it’s a big drop off from Ramsey to him. We’re running out of players and there is only so many positions McGinn can play!
  15. Just out of interest, which would people prefer. a) win Conference League, finish 6th b) lose to Ajax but finish in CL spot. Tough one.
  16. Not hard. You literally just have to not give the ball to the other team
  17. This. Yes, we’re playing reasonably well but my god, they’re dreadful. The amount of space and time our players have. GD is important. Win first, yes, but it would be nice to get a couple more here if possible.
  18. Watkins has had his Weetabix this morning then.
  19. A draw is still an amazing result for us. Hold on Palace!
