  1. I don’t remember him having a weak mentality offering to take the penalty against Wolves in injury time to win the match. Nor do I remember his weak mentality in the playoff final when he was motm.
  2. Agree with all of that. Terrible transfer window.
  3. Don’t bring your arse into this… (insert Kenneth Gif here). Look, I don’t think he was excellent in his debut season. I thought he was very average and somebody we needed to improve upon. Probably why the club went out and spent 70m on two players who played in his position so it’s quite possible they agreed. If he comes back here and smashes it, then, and only then, will we talk about your arse.
  4. I’m all for him coming back and smashing it, but the overwhelming evidence suggests that isn’t going to happen. More fool me if he does. In fact, I’d say El Ghazi would be better in this system than he would. He might be one that could surprise a few under Emery (not that he’s coming back).
  5. He’s not exactly going to come out and say he’s sh*t is he!
  6. I honestly, really can’t be bothered. That’s my opinion and you’re welcome to yours. I believe the reason the club shipped him out to Turkey whilst probably paying a high percentage of his wages is probably because he isn’t good enough. I’m also led to believe he struggled in Turkey too. He’s a funny player to watch but he makes the wrong decisions too often and isn’t fast enough/strong enough to make it as a PL wide player. Or certainly as a wide player for a club aspiring to break the top 8. Ultimately, id bet my bottom dollar that this thread will be moved to other football in July this year and that Will be because Emery too has seen that he isn’t good enough and his decision making is poor. FWIW, I don’t even think he’s lazy and I think that’s an unfair criticism against him. He’s just simply not good enough.
  7. It’s so mad though. Like, when he needs to use it, he’s not bad with it, but if you watch him dribble, it’s like he’s doing everything in his power not to use it?!
  8. Baileys decision making is better than Traores, he just rarely gets to a position to make a decision because he runs into people and loses the ball. Traore actually finds himself in better positions but often makes the wrong decisions. Not being able to use his right foot doesn’t help. Both aren’t good enough tbh. Bailey has something about him but until he moves away from playing well once every 6 weeks, he’s not going to be the answer.
  9. He’d be even better if I didn’t have to listen to that music.
  10. Why the troll emoji? You probably could.
  11. Kamada - Free N. Williams - £40m Guendouzi - £40m To start.
  12. Everton really are desperate. Andre Ayew?! Is he going to save them is he?

  14. We’re not in a relegation scrap and therefore didn’t have to do stupid deals at inflated prices. West Ham have to pay Ings his retirement contract now and once they stay up, he’ll probably be surplus to requirements anyway and stuck on their bench. Couldn’t care less we got rid of Ings. I thought he was crap really anyway and we should never have signed him, Why would we replace Sanson and Nakamba? How many appearances do they have for us in the league this season? Same for Archer? Our first XI is stronger and we’ve saved ourselves some money on wages. We’ll also be in a much stronger position in the Summer to strengthen. I’d have much preferred to get rid of Coutinho and Digne this transfer window too, but I can’t see anybody touching them two. I could be wrong. I never thought anyone would take Ings off our books!
  15. If 2/3 of those players don’t work out, they’ll be in big trouble. If I’m a footballer and you’ve given me 100k a week on an 8yr deal, I’m set for life. Why even bother to perform? You’re a multi millionaire and all you have to do is turn up for training.
  16. Chelsea and maybe Bournemouth (?) aside, I don’t know of many other teams that bought that many more players than us. It was time to trim the squad and we’ll trim the squad even further in the Summer, replacing the players that leave with actual big budget quality. So what if Watkins gets injured. I imagine Ings would only have got injured himself at some point anyway. Also, he’s immobile and apart from the odd appearance of the bench, barely features. Sanson and Nakamba aren’t up to it and weren’t needed. Like I say, Id have got rid of a few more if I could. This squad hasn’t managed to finish in the top half or win a trophy over the last couple of years. Time to let go of a few and bring in players that might help us actually achieve something.
  17. Couldn’t disagree more. Our first XI has been strengthened and we’ve set ourselves up for more success in the Summer window. 9/10 for me. I kinda wanted Guendouzi is all but we’ll just go and get him in the Summer instead.
  18. Couldn’t care less about that sponsor. Of all the things wrong with football, having BK8 - whoever the f*** they are - on the front of our shirts ranks pretty low down on the list. If it means more money for us, I’m all for it because that is all that matters in this morally bankrupt sport.
