There’s some talent in that division, as there is in Portugal. I fully expect us to be shopping in these leagues in the Summer. I’d be surprised if we didn’t bring in at least two players from la liga and one from the Primera Liga.

I don’t like the way we play. There, I said it. I don’t like the suicidal playing out from the back. Now, if we go out and buy players in the Summer that can do it, fine, but right now, it’s painful to watch. I thought we were a tad fortunate to win yesterday. Fully behind him to get it right and I hope this way of playing is just him instilling his mentality and playing style on the current squad with the intention of finding better suited players in the transfer window.

I wonder if he’d fetch much in the summer. Not that I particularly want to sell as I think he’s a good squad option, but if we could get £25m+ for him, the club might think it can go towards a better centre half. Not sure, just a thought!

I actually didn’t think he was great yesterday. I thought the whole back 4 really struggled playing out from the back and both Ty and Ezri were guilty of getting us into a bit of trouble on a few occasions. He’s still a very important player for us though.

He really struggles with the playing out from the back thing. He’s a really likeable player but we’ll need a better centre half (and right back) if we want to continue to play this way.

He doesn’t on his wages. Football is a business, and anyone on £160k a week at a mid table club just isn’t sustainable. I don’t mind him all that much but he isn’t worth the expenditure.

He frustrates the hell out of me at times but who are you getting that is better for less than £50m? Nobody. Been brilliant of late. Can’t fault him in any way.

Surprise, surprise, he’s playing well when not asked to play central midfield. It’s taken however many months for our managers to realise that maybe; just maybe, he isn’t at his best as a deep lying central midfielder. Same goes for Ramsey.

As much as a I don’t rate him, he’s far better than Bailey. The most frustrating thing about Buendia, Bailey, Coutinho is that they almost always perform better from the bench. Still doesn’t start for me in our best XI. Ramsey and McGinn are better options in midfield and Coutinho is better as a forward option. Credit where it’s due though, good goal today.

We’re not mentally weak. We’re just not very good and this way of playing the manager is insisting is just daft.

If Emery isn’t happy with what’s happening, maybe he can change the way we play a little? You know, stop this daft playing out from the back and gifting the opposition the ball time and time again because the players aren’t very good at it? We’re an average side being set up really poorly by the manager at the moment.

Im glad we have 28 points on the board. We’re really not much better than Everton. Bailey has been poor again. As has Cash.

Some of playing out from the back is absolutely dreadful. We won’t stop doing it though so I suppose I’ll just watch us keep giving it away in dangerous areas.
