It's personal development too at that age. You move away (the club will likely ask him to do this without any family involvement) and learn to be an adult. I remember them saying this exact thing when we loaned Dominic Revan to Weymouth. Also, down in League One, you're gonna be mixing it with proper blokey-blokes, so that'll toughen him up a bit. He'll be learning in some way or another, be it mentally or just general life skills. Not waltzing into their first team will give him a bit of a reality check too; he'll know there's still work to do, and that's great for him and us.
